Not sure if that is what he meant, but I agree. Fair weather fans and bandwagon fans are not real fans. I live in Indiana and I find it really funny how all the usually loud Colts fans have almost completely disappeared.

White trash icon Hank Williams Jr. has been yanked from MNF's intro tonight thanks to appearing on Fox News (shocking, huh?)

and mixing the President with Hitler. If you've ever heard Hank's nutty political statements in the past you'll know this isn't surprising. I love his intro but I'm glad they pulled the fool for this.

First off.... David Allen Cole or whatever his name is, is 'the' White Trash Icon.

Second.... Let's leave politics out of this completely, but consider it noted that he won't be on.

Third.... Anyone who cares about a basketball player's taste in music, a singer's political views, or a politicians fashion sense, has no sense themselves.

He's an employee for the TV network. What he says publicly absolutely does matter and the company has every right to punish him.

My entire "People who care what a singer has to say about politics" is more of a commentary on our culture, and the fact that he got air-time for anything other than singing drinking songs is the problem here.....

Just like the fact that I don't go to a Bruce Springsteen concert (not that I ever would) to get lectured on politics.

Ya, and like I said, I actually do like his music. I don't want him to be fired, just suspended a few weeks maybe. I'll take Hank's MNF intro over Faith Hill's crappy SNF intro any day, even if she's easier on the eyes.

If I didn't quit on the Cowboys during the 2000-2002 3 year stretch of 5-11 seasons, why would I quit on them now? Being a Cowboys fan is a point of family loyalty to me and means too much to me to give it up, even after games like yesterday's.

I really hope Tampa sells out a game for once being on MNF. In both 2010 and so far in 2011 they've been 31st out of 32 teams in attendance, despite a very solid 12-7 record during that span. It's really too bad fans won't show up to see such a good young team.

This season Cincinnati, last season Oakland. Though Cincinnati has played just one home game this year, so it's a little early to make much of a judgment. San Diego's attendance is better than people seem to think - 21st in the NFL in 2010 and 2011.
