Let Me In. I bought it after reading glowing reviews both here and other sites. I won't be buying remakes anymore, especially ones that borrow so much from the original yet aren't nearly as affective. It kind of disgusts me how many people here enjoy this more than the masterpiece that is the original.

The primary reason I disliked the film was because of how she was portrayed, both in how she talked and what they made her character do. I'm not a big Nick Cage fan either though. The best part was when Kick Ass confronts his first villains and gets hospitalized as a result--something they never show you in other superhero movies.

I agree 100%! Chloë Grace Moretz's character was too mature for her age. The role of Hit-Girl should has been cast appropriately to an adult actress, not to a minor.

Then they would have had to change her name to hit-woman.

If you aren't too particular about Ben Affleck then what held you off from seeing it?

The "13 year old girl says filthy things" was basically the big marketing gimmick for the film and why everyone was talking about it. You're asking movie studios to not stoop to that level? Good luck...

I think the correct term used to describe him or her would not be "completest" but one who suffers from addiction and OCD.

And to be honest, it really worked out for Chloe Moretz too as she is doing really well now with major roles in big budget pictures. Child actors can handle a lot more than some people give them credit. Chloe's mom didn't even allow her to watch the movie until recently. Kick Ass is one of my favorite movies--and primarily because of the Hit Girl character.

But I digress--I am not all that happy with my purchase of Cloverfield. I know it is a wonderful movie for its audio track but maybe I already have enough of those. I just am not a big fan of that one-camera style used in this movie and a few others.

Because he's a Pixar fan and he wants to complete his collection. It's understandable.

Think about it.... you buy a TV show and have 4 out of 5 seasons. the 5th season is bad, but you buy it anyway to complete your collection of that show despite how awful that season is. I'm sure many of us have done that. I don't see how completing one's Pixar collection is any different.

Not necessarily! Alicia Silverstone's role in Batman & Robin was named: Batgirl.

That's why the movie was so awesome, she was just a kid but she was badass.

The entertainment industry, doesn't care anything about morals. People will sell their souls for fame, and fortune. There is no way in Hell, I would have let my 13 year old daughter make that film, regardless the amount of money she was getting.

Jody Foster was only 12 when her mom let her be a prostitute for Taxi Driver--and that was in 1976.

She didn't have to watch the movie, she starred in it

And you know what? Kick-Ass would have been a much better movie, if her dialogue was less profane.

This reverts back to my previous statement! It was all because of the money.

Generally, I don't buy movies, that I don't like regardless of the circumstances.

I disagree, it was part of the humor to the film.

As we all know, 13 year old kids never use profanity. I am sure the director told her those swear words meant something else and tried to relate them to a Disney princess movie.
