Hello
I was wondering because from October 24th. to November 24th. I am going to be in London and I was looking to know if there is any store or anyone knows of one that would sell region A imported BD's (my player is region A I think). And I am trying to avoid an online retailer because I don't want to use the credit card (it is only for emergencies). Thank you |

The Cinema Store, Upper St. Martin's Lane, Covent Garden (you can look them up on the net). They sell DVD's & Blu's downstairs. They've always sold R1 DVD's, no under the counter stuff, & they sell region A Blu-rays (they had the US Ben-Hur Box Set before it was even released in Anerica). Mind you, you can get them cheaper on the net, but it's a great shop to visit...& only five minutes walk from the huge Forbidden Planet shop.

Cinema Store charge about £30-£35 for new US releases
there was an electronic store opposite The British Museum (where my wife works) that used to sell US DVD's and BD's for a better price (about £25 for new US Releases) but they moved and i never got chance to get their new address you can always pick up a bargain at CEX in London if you want UK titles. you can even check what they have instore online |
