Again, art these days is practically limitless. Your straw man argument does not fly.

Art is expression. So is speech. To censor the criticism of movies is to censor expression. Your proposal that people not be allowed to criticize movies is hypocritical.

I've seen you in many threads, and I'm noticing that you enjoy becoming outraged at anyone that does not share your opinion. Should you not be allowed to express it then?

Do you understand the self-defeating conundrum you create with your position?

I've got 3:

Shoot 'em Up - I guess the $10 price tag made me momentarily forget that I thought this movie was terrible.

5 Deadly Venoms - Blind buy because the box boasted the best fight scene ever committed to film.

Death Frenzy - Another blind buy. With a name like Death Frenzy, I was expecting non-stop action along the lines of Afro Samurai, but they just stare at each other for about 20 minutes and then yell for 4 minutes.

Sunshine Cleaning -

My wife and I got this and it had some potential, but it was poorly executed. We both thought it was bland and dull.

I enjoyed this as well. I thought the little girl using profanity was a definite shocker. I was stunned. I liked the use of the little girl in a tough guy role. I wouldn't be happy if she was my little girl and saying those profane things.

Bridesmaids. I went ahead and blind bought it on release day. Was able to get it for $15, that's the main reason I picked it up. Kept hearing everyone say how funny it was, but after watching it I didn't enjoy it at all. I'm debating on selling it now.

Redbox a movie first. If it's good enough, buy it later on blu. Blu's are too expensive to blind buy especially in today's deteriorating economy.

Or... 01) Watch the trailer first. Does it interest you enough to want to buy it? 02) Is there anyone in the movie you're a fan of that makes you want to see it?

I just ask people here on Blu-ray.com if I should blind buy a certain movie. If majority tell me yes, then I take their word for it. It's much cheaper than Redbox.

G.I. Joe: I still cannot believe I did a blind buy on this. Although, I did ask my brother if it was worth it since he saw it in theaters... but the buck stops here. Channing Tatum... now there is an academy award worthy actor...

All you people arguing about Kick-Ass are weird. It's a movie get over it. Why do threads always get derailed.

Back on topic. Blade Runner. I didn't like this movie at all. I feel asleep 3/4 of the way and had to watch the rest the next day. Super boring. Another one was Ninja, this movie was horrible, incredible bad.

Funny thing is Kick-Ass is probably the best blind buy I've ever made!

I'd probably say Scott Pilgrim, wasn't too impressed by the movie.

Cameraman must love out of focus shots or something as this movie looked terrible on blu for the most part. Focus-blur-focus-blur-focus-blur-focus-blur. He just loved blurring out everything he didn't like.

I blindly bought Fight Club on Blu-ray, and I ended up not liking it. It's the first and last time I ever buy a movie that I haven't seen already and know that I like it.

Iron Man. Never really was into the super hero movies very much but loved Nolans Batman so much and heard such great things about it, I thought I would give it a try. Not really bad just nothing to it. So over the top, not much story, and no suspence. Just don't get it. I did buy the steelbook and held onto it for awhile so I did make some money.

How about movies that you almost blind bought? Warrior...glad I dodged that bullet. As a MMA buff, the fighting scenes were absolutely laughable. I was yelling at my TV.

The Sentinel.

Michael Douglas, Kiefer Sutherland. What could go wrong? Everything as it happens. Felt like a cheap TV movie. Couldn't even match the action of a mediocre episode of 24!

What did you expect to see -real MMA fights? Warrior is a movie, not a real Ultimate Fighting Championship! Fight scenes in movies are staged by professional Choreographers, to prevent accidental injuries to the actors.

Universe: 7 Wonders of the Solar System (3D). Not thrilling, even for a documentary, and really subpar 3d.

Fortunately was a $10 sale purchase.
