The first two films are 5-disc sets? Wow. Not to mention the remaining films seem to be 4-disc sets.

I wonder how they're spacing it out. Must be 2 BDs, 2 DVDs and 1 DC surely? Otherwise I can't help but think it's an error.

Wow. I thought they'd come later rather than sooner, but it's good news, or maybe not so good for those ordering the collection in December.

For christ sake, I've been completing my HP Blu-Ray collection, literally just ordered GOF on eBay...

These all better be extended, I expect PS and COS to be extended at least because the Americans got them.

There'll probably be an announcement in the near future.

No UCE for Half-Blood Prince? I know Deathly Hallows hasn't had one in the US yet, and since I haven't heard anything about when the two parts will get one, I'll keep my pre-order in for Part 2. But Half-Blood Prince has definitely had one.

They're probably coming later.

Hmm, hope we get more info on these rather soon! I was planning on pre-ordering the LE boxset but now want to wait and see if these ones will get a boxset (though already I shudder to think of the price!)

I might pick these up individually or wait for the set next year.

This isn't going to be something that will go OOP soon right?
Or how soon do people think we will get 6, 7 and 7.2?

cos i never bought any of them on blu-ray (was waiting for the complete set), i could avoid double dipping for the UCEs if I don't have to wait too long for the last three...

I was going to order the 1-8 limited edition boxset. For all it's flaws, of which there are many, the packaging looked nice and it came with a photobook.

But now that these UCE's, possibly the same ones released in the US, are FINALLY coming out, I might aswell get these and not the 1-8 limited edition boxset, as I don't have any HP films on blu-ray.

I bet that getting the UCE's will be a lot more expensive though.

6 is up for pre-order now as well, 14th November, same as the others.

Anyone else find it a bit odd that nowhere else has these up yet? I've cancelled my boxset pre-order (was only getting the £32 one to tide me over until these releases thinking we'd see them Easter time at the earliest) but am now wondering if HMV has just made an error as there's no sign of these releases anywhere else. Hopefully not though (although I'd have been happy for them to give us 2 every three months or so rather than 6 all on one day).

Unless of course, they are exclusive to HMV.

I'd considered that and they might still be but HMV aren't shy of shouting about things being exclusive to them.

Well, like you said, maybe HMV just put them up before anyone else.
I suppose it would be useless to email the BBFC and ask which retailers are getting the UCE's.

Yup - they just deal with the studios, what WB do with the product after it's been rated is none of their concern. WB would be the right people to ask, I've submitted the question (about other retailers and whether there's a chance of them going OOP soon like the US HP releases are due to) via their website and will post on here if I get a reply.

Wonder what the packaging will be, perhaps similar to the US releases?
