so did Walk poison Brock ? i mean they make it seem like he did, he has done some crazy stuff these past few seasons. i just wouldnt imagine him doing something like that to a child and also we never found out what happened to Jesses ricin ? i really hope they answer all these questions next season.

Yep, but that shows you how lost Walt really is. I know you do anything for your family, but that is something you just can't risk. GOod move and great writing, but it will come back to haunt Walt somehow next season. Or maybe not. Maybe we were just show that last scene to see who Walt really is now. That we should not feel sorry for him.

No, they've spent time showing that he is in way over his head when it comes to the people he's up against - Gus and his crew. They're gone. At the moment, he is on top of the drug market. He has nothing to worry about - except for Mike.

He has no distribution, and they covered that with him and Jesse trying to do it themselves with their own dealers

Oh hey, guess I was right about Walt after all! And if you notice, he was relieved that the poison was being treated and Brock will recover after all. That sight of relief confirmed he definitely poisoned him before the final reveal.
Poor Gus never saw it coming. Am I the only one who was remorseful of the fact we were witnessing his final moments when Gilligan held the shot on him in the car and all the emotion he was displaying... he was nearly in tears and could barely contain it. Made me want one flashback before he went inside. |

I don't see why Mike would even care, he's a hired goon, a hitman, a merc for hire, loyal to the highest bidder. He's good at what he does and will find the next job and move on. There's no grudges in that business, death is expected and paybacks are worthless.
About the poison, [Show spoiler] I really wish the series had ended with last nights episode but I suppose there's some interesting avenues to look into. The DEA isn't going to stop their investigation and Walt and Jesse's hands are all over a lot of it, so I can see that being the tension between Hank and Walt throughout. |

EDIT: I find it doubtful that he'll be back for some revenge, but I can definitely see Mike being a problem. |

Wow. Just... wow. I was enjoying every minute of this, and dreading every minute, since it would mean getting closer to the end of the season. I was actually convinced that Walt didn't poison Brock, so that came as a shock to me. It'll be interesting to see the continuing downfall of Walt in the final season.
Gus being blown up, and walking out again (for a moment I thought he was still alive, for some reason) and that face! Damn. Hector finally got his revenge, and that moment was acted incredibly well by Mark Margolis. It's no small feat to act primarily by facial expressions, and pressing a bell, but the moment he let the bomb go off, he had the most terrifying expression. Vince Gilligan already said the last episode could also be used as a series finale, because they didn't know at the time whether they could continue the series. I agree with that. It could figure as a sort of closure, but of course the story has to continue. What's going to happen with Mike? Will the investigation continue? Will Jesse find out what happened with Brock? And, as an aside, did Jesse ever find out what happened to Jane? It's been a while since I watched that particular season, and I can't remember. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
