Yep the promo for that only came with the single disc version of the blu.

Why would you want that DLC anyway? The Sinestro Corps costume on Batman looks rather ugly. Would you play the game through with that costume? I wouldn't.

What is up with all of the Friday release dates recently? X-Men: First Class was released on 9/9, Star Wars was released on 9/16, Tranformers: Dark of the Moon was released on 9/30, and now Green Lantern is being released on 10/14. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come...I personally like having all new movies and music released on one certain day of the week (Tuesday) instead of scattered all throughout the week.

get you into the store an extra day = more purchases. Plain and Simple. They have you come in on release tuesday, special release friday, and sunday when the new circular/other items are put out

I will continue to support the release of G2 steelbooks at US retail stores in hopes that we will continue to get more releases. I just wish it was a better movie this time around.

haha thats how I was the other day. A buddy of mine was going to meet me at 10am to pick up the movie. He called me today saying you do understand that the 14th is a Friday.

I'm so ****ing mad.

I call my Best Buy up and give them the SKU number 3477047.

They say "the Green Lantern Steelbook?" I say yeah. So they say that they have it in stock and asked if I want to hold it. I give them my name and say I'll be up there in a little bit and they tell me to come to the Customer Service desk to pick it up.

So I drive 30+ minutes to get to the Best Buy (since it's the closest one to me) and I wait in the Customer Service line for a good 10 minutes or so until I'm waited on. I tell the girl waiting on me that there is a Green Lantern Steelbook on hold for me and she asks the head of the Customer Service (who answered the phone and told me it was in-stock) and she tells the girl that it doesn't come out until Friday. So the girl relays the message to me and I'm just like ...

So over an hour was wasted because of these idiots working at Best Buy. The only reason I even called in the first place was because this Best Buy was the one that gave me the Disney blank cases a week in advanced. I even spoke to the same girl who lied to me today about having them...

C'mon man. You really did not know the release date wasn't until 11/14?

Nah, I knew it came out Friday.

It's just the point that I called expecting the worst, they tell me it's in stock and they'll hold me one, and then they decide oh hey just kidding.

The only reason I called was because they've released things early for me in the past when I've called.

Just because they said they would hold one for you, doesn't mean they can break street date and sell it in advance (a big no-no).

Maybe you should have asked if they can sell it to you before release date before you made your trip.

Selling empty cases is one thing, selling the actual movie is illegal -- esp. in the US(!).
