That would be awesome if you would implement that feature. A delimited format seems the way to go.

Could you also have it display which UPCs weren't found (rejected) in the database? This would help the user to identify which titles need to be added to the blu-ray.com database without having to do a manual compare between what got added to the blu-ray.com list and the user's master list.

EDIT: I see that this feature has already been implemented. Thanks.

One issue I've noticed, the database already has the standard release of The Grudge 2 (Unrated Director's Cut) DVD listed. I have the exclusive steelbook version and when I was trying to add this as a new version I received an error stating that there was already a version with the exact same Title, Studio, and (a third criterion I can't remember now). It looks like the database won't allow a user to add a new DVD if those three criteria are exactly the same even if there are different releases.

In the mean time, I had to change the title to simply The Grudge 2 to get it submitted. Hoping I can go back and change it back to The Grudge 2 (Unrated Director's Cut) later after the entry gets approved.

Is it possible to modify this limitation without compromising the quality of the database (different UPC or ASIN)?

Correct UPC: 086162103940

Speaking of that release, I know it's also known as The X-Files: Fight The Future, but isn't it just The X-Files officially?

Would it be possible to allow a user to submit a UPC change? Even if it has to be verified by a reviewer.

I've noticed there are quite a few titles that are listed in the database but aren't found when I use the Import feature. Some titles have dropped the 0 if it's the first digit in the UPC; hence the reason for the no match.

One such example is the Godsend DVD:

https://www.blu-ray.com/products/?p=...on=editproduct

UPC 31398163251
EAN 0031398163251

It looks like the EAN is correct but the UPC should be 031398163251. I'm presuming this info is being imported from Amazon and Amazon either incorrectly dropped the first digit or they've used a number field which usually automatically removes any preceding zeros.

Sorry for re-posting this as it was in the done thread but seems like it was accidentally placed there.

https://forum.blu-ray.com/5315651-post658.html

Two listings (same UPC/EAN/Amazon and Best Buy links) for..

https://www.blu-ray.com/dvd/Porco-Rosso-DVD/20013/
https://www.blu-ray.com/dvd/Porco-Rosso-DVD/20049/

And a couple of Amazon filled entries that are twisted up.

https://www.blu-ray.com/dvd/King-Arthur-DVD/2408/
https://www.blu-ray.com/dvd/Teenage-M...ries-DVD/5248/ (this needs an overhaul.. wrong UPC - goes to King Arthur above (correct is 012236183075), right EAN, Best Buy SKU should be 7573734.

Thanks.

This was moved to the done thread also with nothing done to it except for the first one:

https://forum.blu-ray.com/5315611-post657.html

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. I meant that in Canada they are import copies from the US. The Canadian Blu-rays are the exact same releases with the same UPC so they are not unique ones in anyway. If you are just keeping them here for the extra buy now links it's not a good reason.

You need to start giving feedback on why something wasn't done or why something was rejected when adding or editing a release.

Default please delete double

You can delete the double entry I made for this title:
Delete this one without the cover: Yellow Matter Custard

I have moved any necessary info over to the duplicate entry that has a cover. Thanks

Those two are record companies. Are you sure there is no studio listed on the release? If there isn't then you should use Cooking Vinyl since it's a parent company to Take Me to the Hospital.
