Can anyone spot the changes made to this custom cover from its previous incarnation.

Hint: It's got nothing to do with the synoposis being more justified.

Looks better imo....
I know people like to exclude the barcode, but I just like to have it.

Hey Jaws3dfan, any chance you might do a cover for Still Screaming & Scream: the Inside Story like you did for Halloween II/Terror In The Aisles?

You may want to ditch the Fox/MGM specs grid.

Neither are DTS-MA (or TrueHD or lossless PCM).

This custom cover in the very early stages:

I need to redo the photos on the back cover.

Any comments? Suggestions?

Well looking at it as it stands right now, i've gotta go with the textured background. Definitely for the front.

DrrnHarr, I must tell you 2 things that bothers me with your James Bond covers and the Highlanders one...

I don't really like the spine, where you put those 2 yellow horizontal lines.
I don't understand why they aren't stuck to the image. The space and the shadow make them awkward to me. I would find it more clear visually if they were stuck to the image on top and bottom.

Second things is I don't understand why the specs and sometimes the text are transparent, I mean the specs especially and mostly on the James Bond covers (with the gun barrel effect) would be easier to read if they weren't transparent.
And on the second Highlander cover it's all the more distracting.
There are too much distracting visual effects on the back covers of the James Bond series, but it's just me probably.

It's true that I prefer simple covers etc
But I wanted to say those two little things, hoping you wouldn't take that personally against your great work.
I thought that maybe taking this comment into account would improve your covers.
I sincerely hope that you won't get hurt by those two tiny criticism

No. I am always looking for positive constructive criticism.

I'm not sure I follow you about the yellow bars on the spine. Are you saying that they should touch the top and the bottom of the image like the blue bars do on the back cover?

Here's where that Highlander custom stands right now:

Here's where that Highlander custom stands right now:

first: dirch the movie posters on the back, no need for them
second: that light blue that your using for the spec grid and pic borders just doesn't cut.
third: less is more, try to simplify, this as well as under siege are just to crowded on the back.

But sweet PS skill bruthah
