I really want to see the creating Harry Potter docs, but if these come in huge boxes filled with cheap tat I'll stick with the £32 box. £4 a film or £24, hmmm..

I'm just happy with the plain standard 1-7p2 set... cheaper and less space taken up...

but you just know that when the UCE of 7p1 and 7p2 come out there will be an ULIMATE-Ultimate Collector's Edition with all 8 UCEs in some Harry Potter themed tat that will one day end up in some charity shop or boot sale.

Thank God, that means I don't have to buy them right away. I'm having to save enough money for exclusives as it is with all these steelbooks coming out.

Hope it'll be set at a reasonable price, otherwise, I'm willing to wait for it to drop.

Are those actually the UK editions then? So much for the 5-discs for the first two each, and 4-discs for the following editions.

Well they're the ones currently on the HMV website, though I don't think I can see any BBFC ratings on them so pheraps thats not the completely final artwork.

I've just pre-ordered the 1 and 2 Harry Potter ultimate editions from HMV, as I no longer have the box set pre-ordered in December (I've also already sold my normal 1-6 box set).

I'll probably get 1 and 2 in November, and then the rest of the Ultimate editions over a few months as they don't look like they will be limited which is good news.

And then hopefully next year Warner will release Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Part 2 ultimate editions to match these ones, and I'll get them aswell.

No doubt Warner will also release a massive box set next year including all 8 films in Ultimate Editions with something like a Hogwarts Castle replica.

A Hogwarts Castle-styled UE boxset would be nice.

So are these really worth getting? I don't own any Harry Potter films, and I've only seen the first three films (which I didn't think were that great to be honest). I've read, and love, all the books. How come the last two films don't have an UCE? Are these going to be limited edition, or do you think I could afford to wait for a price drop?

The last film will have an UCE in its respective two parts. They're probably coming next year, though.

I hope they pile in both parts into one "year seven" UCE - will look much nicer on the shelf next to the seven books.

I shudder at the thought of how much shelf space a full set of these will take up...

I have a copy of CSI season 2 on DVD, 6 discs, each disc is in its own full-size case. Have seriously considered re-purchasing just to reclaim some shelf real-estate!

Well, I'll wait until these arrive here, then next year could purchase the UE boxset.

The Ultimate Editions have been added to Amazon UK as 'Blu-ray + DVD', which would explain the extra discs been included.
