But it still stells HD-DVD software, so it is a bit misleading for the article to say Target is Blu-ray exclusive. The article (from what I read) is talking about all aspects, not just hardware.

I'm pretty sure that K-Mart came out and said that they were not HD-DVD exclusive.

I still remember seeing the news when HMV announced they were stopping selling VHS tapes in their stores, this was back when it was clear that DVD was the future, but not EVERYONE had made the switch quite yet.

It's not the same thing I know, cause there was no war... but I was happy cause I was an early adopter.

I can't wait till the stores here stop HDUD, that'll be a fun memory to file away next to the VHS thing.

They did deny those reports the day after Microsoft made them.

My Local K-Mart has never carried HD-DVD Hardware or software, but they do carry blu-ray.
