anybody else have this disc, from Optimum? At the start it does a check to see if the player in internet enabled. I've not watched it in a while, and put in the other day. When it gets to the inernet check, it goes onto a perpetual loop, looking for updates. THere's a cancel button, but clicking it just starts it over again. I had to disable my net connection to the player to eventually get it working. My assumption is that Optimum/Lionsgate have taken down the BDLive site, which I hope isnt right, as it was pretty good with some extra shorts on and some HD newsfeed.
I did try emailing Optimum/StudioCanal, but they didnt bother to respond. I've searcehed online, but cant find anything about it anywhere. Apart from the aggro of the loading, it's a shame if we've lost the good content on the BDLive. |

o did you just leave it, and it loaded eventually? Did you get the BDLive functionallity when it did load? I guess not. I cant see any other reason for why the disc didnt load, and keeps sitting at the start. i wonder if the Lionsgate release is identical, and it was just a direct port?
either way, i'm less than happy at this farce, and Optimum's apathy on the matter. I'm on ps3 too. on a related note, the BDLive doesnt seem to work on Trick 'r Treat anymore either, but at least the disc loads. |

I don't live in the UK and I'd believe neither does Eidolon. That might be the reason as you have to choose either UK, France or Germany as your location. But that only affects on the connecting loop, not how slow the disc itself is. I'm sure you've noticed that.
