The new style of packaging deserves much more than just a +1

Other Amazon needs to follow suit (I think Amazon ES has the same packaging method). It's so nice receiving steelbooks in mint condition.

AZ.ca was always the leader in the past
The order I got from them a few days ago was in a box w/ air pillows surrounding the Steels, but they were not individually wrapped and boxed within the box
Apparently the new shipping policy hasn't quite made it worldwide yet
Regardless, none of them were damaged in transit of course

I've bought a heap of stuff, mostly steelbooks from amazon.de recently as the prices are very good and shipping is great. I've never received a damaged item and as I have with amazon.ca in the past. I always prefer to buy a quantity of items though to ensure they are sent in a box.

Yep, my orders aren't small either
The main problem before was that I would get a box of a dozen SteelBooks that someone had stacked other things on top of, pressing them all together and causing the corners of each Steel to leave impressions on the others, often ruining every SteelBook in the box
Needless to say, the new packaging gets a big from me (and everyone else I'm ordering for as well no doubt)

it's been a while since I used amazon.de, so very curious about this new packaging style! my Lord of the rings steelbook box set will arrive tomorrow, will see in what condition.

by the way, ordered the french X-men First class steelbook from amazon.fr a few days ago, I had it in my hands one day after the shipping notice, in a large cardboard box, surrounded with plenty of wrapping paper and placed in a play.com style cardboard. brilliant packaging, super fast shipment!!

hopefully will get the LOTR box set the same way!

Yep, I saw the unboxing video of the FR X-Men Steel from AZ.fr made by that brilliantly funny guy w/ the awesome accent
I think I know him... where are you, friend
Anyways, his package was OCD-friendly, just like my DE packages have been

I just ordered 3, one for me, one sealed and one for whoever wishes to trade or needs one. It is region B locked though, but I guess it's the SB you're after and just swap discs.

There are plenty on ebay at the moment, some reasonable prices. PM me if you wanna trade.
