Some of these predator maps come straight from the depths of fell. Many of the extreme ones took MANY tries to get them right and it was luck when I did.

I have NO IDEA how I will make it through them on campaign mode. Most of the youtube videos are only relevant when the henchmen do exactly what they do in the video and that isn't always the case.

Campaign mode could have been done a LOT better IMO.

Instead of making it to where you have to get every single little medal make it such that you have to achieve scores, but make it such that the medals are worth so much that you pretty much have to get them to get the highest score AND also make the use of modifiers optional, but if you use modifiers that make it harder you get a nice score bonus and if you use ones that make it easier you get a score penalty. It just seems like that could allow for some leeway so that you are not banging your fists over and over.

Just my thoughts.

In the campaign mode you can just take your time with all the predator maps ... you could spend as much time as you want .. it doesnt get recorded and it doesn't affect your score ... I find that refreshing because on the normal challenges I'm always trying to do it as fast as possible ... I can savor it more on the campaign mode

I didn't really have a hard time as Batman or Robin on most of the predators ... Its Catwoman and Nightwing that give me the hardest time =P

If only it were as easy as "taking your time" LOL.

There are some medals that you have only one opportunity to get and unless the henchman are standing in the right place and not being seen then you can't get them. There were too many instances where you had the opportunity, but you couldn't do it without being seen or putting yourself in a very vulnerable position.

I don't think it was all that horrible ... most of those instances are pretty simple ... like the glass ceiling take down on the GCPD level .. then the extreme version had you do a takedown right above a guy, they ran in there after you do the glass ceiling takedown so it was easy .... and then the one in the museum ... you had to blow up the gun rack when a henchman goes for a gun .. i did that with the last guy and it was easy to manipulate him ... Its really only ridiculous in the last 2 or 3 extreme maps ... it does get worse with Catwoman and Nightwing

I do know what you mean though ... I did have top restart a few challenges 4 or 5 times .. i would have preferred a point-based medal system that rewarded variation ... with maybe a few extra medals you can earn on any map doing some of the more odd takedowns

How are you playing as Robin already? Wasn't Nightwing & Catwoman the only characters released so far?

Yeah in those specific examples you mentioned it was easy! But it was freakin ridiculous in Top of the Worl Extreme when I would set up a henchman on the balcony for the armored guard so you could shoot him into another henchman only to have him go through the wrong door. You can always restart Predator challenges, but campaign challenges it's a pain in the ass and controller breaking frustration.

I was going to say the same thing. Some are easy but some are pretty tough. For Top of the World,

[Show spoiler]you can swing on the Gargoyles until you see the first guy on the Balcony. Then use the Freeze bomb on him, a guy comes out to break the ice, then you shoot him into the guy stuck in the ice. When the other guy comes out, you use the Cluster bomb and freeze all 3.

I've got 349 riddler trophies but I haven't been prompted about the second hostage? Do I have to get all trophies before I can save the hostages? When I load the last frequency Riddler just says "you don't have enough trophies" or whatever he says? Lol!

Any help would be appreciated! The only hostage I've saved is the one next to the church!

I'm working the combat challenges, for some reason i'm breezing through them all on the first or second try. I just got my freeflow perfection, 50 hitter, and perfect fight trophy in the challenge map too AA gave me a MUCH harder time in the combat arena.

Anyone know how to get the riddler trophy in the Bowery that's behind an electrified fence? I can't seem to get over or around that fence anywhere.

I think there are 2 seperate criteria for triggering the next hostage. The first is actually completing the required amount of riddler trophies. The second is approaching the correct trophy to trigger the next hostage.

I'm not 100% how it works. I have about 240 trophies, but have already saved 2 hostages and am trying to get the 3rd guy.

True but there I got to a rooftop trophy somewhere that needed the crypto-thing to hack. When I attempted to hack it, Riddler said something along the lines of i'm not ready to get that trophy yet....

That was my strategy, but it is NEVER as easy as you make it seem. What could go wrong? The jammer guard would go through the wrong door and you couldn't shoot him or you would shoot him and he wouldn't hit the other guard. Even if you got all that perfectly the third guard would come in and be too far away and the cluster freeze wouldn't freeze everyone. Even if you got all of them too often more guards would show up and you couldn't deal with signal jammer guard. The only way I could make that part a success was it I could throw a sonic batarang and detonate it so that it would knock out the signal jammer. That wasn't easy either because you had to be real quick. My blood is boiling just typing it.

You need 400 Riddler Secrets to get the last hostage.

I'm at work so I cannot say for sure, but I believe that is a spot where you have to dive from one of the high points (a tower, I believe) and then pull up on the stick to fly over the fence. The trick is getting into that structure and then over the fence.
