But you know what they say. Ignorance is bliss. LOL

I'm willing to bet that there is a significantly small percentage of folks who are truly knowledgeable about high fidelity. The rest of us just know enough to get by through trial and error, or research and simply regurgitate information we gather on-line.
was that aimed at me? cause if was then yea your right, alot of us do regurgitate information we gather on-line so what? all i know is the info i learned here(and other places) taught me alot about home theater, was some of the info wrong? hell yea, but at the end of the day it was up to me to figure out what was true and not true, i did my own research on these product's to see what was best for me and i chose what i have now. bose aint for me, like i said iv heard bose pleanty of times, did they sound good? yea but conpaired to other systems iv listen to their's no compairison. if i say i dont like bose then that mean's i dont like bose im entiteld to my opinion right? the bottom line is their's other systems out that sound better than bose, how am i wrong for trying to help somebody get a good sound system?....pleaes tell me.
and edh63 thats a funny post, im not emotional nor am i a child, your the one that must be emotional is that you? but whatever who care's. look... if anybody like's bose that FINE get bose if they sound good to you great enjoy, im just saying ther's other option's out there for a better system this is america right?.

Bose is marketed as a "high" end audio equipment for mainstream consumers. In other words, all fluff and no substance. For a high price, you will get a nice package without sound depth. No self respecting audiophile would be caught dead with Bose speakers in their homes.

Good for audiophiles! I'm not one of those guys and never claimed to be, and I don't think that any Bose owner in this thread claimed to be either... unless I missed something. How about we all chill out, grab a beer and talk trash about HD DVD rather than poke fun at us poor Bose guys.

Get a grip, man. There was no direct personal attack against you anywhere in my post.

Damn. Emotions sure as hell run high around here.
