That is what I thought. Midnightwatcher is over at AVS pushing this "news" as a blip of hope on the HD DVD radar. One poster actually said that "warner was paying attention to the petitions."

Exactly. It's over DuD'rs, Warner ain't coming back. They've made their choice & after May it's over. Get it through your thick skulls for crying out loud.

That is a SPE possession that actually got a complete 4K digital restoration which took over 6 months to complete in 2006.
Last August it was shown to the general public with a Sony 4K digital projector at the Landmark Theater in West L.A.

Suffice to say, the “source” is now pristine, and it is up to the marketing gurus to decide when and where it will enter the Blu-ray hit parade.

Funny. Warner delays even their catalog titles and they consider this a GOOD sign?

Wendell , you really should apply here to the mods for some kind of Insider status because I think you may know far more about the production pipeline prior to high-def optical disc encoding/authoring than many others do……….

including “retired” persons that allegedly “retired” to spend more time with their families and their barbecue machine.

Depends on how one looks at it, either………..

A "news" tidbit to provide false hope to red ants barricaded in DUD bunkers for life –

Or……………

A vehicle for astute Blu-ray supporters to add salt to the Warner wound.

I'll go with the salt. That has to sting

You'd be suprised how many read your comments and still think your a fake, no really.

The BDA needs to spread the word in the UK, the sales lead is solid, but there are still pockets of HD-DVD support.

agreed. Sporadic gunfire from hddvd delusionaries can be heard on some forii, i suspect that they are getting together on msn and plotting drive-by fudding.

Perhaps Amir is advising them on how to construct "improvised FUD devices".

Penton I asked you this question yesterday but I don't think you responded to it so in case you did answer I missed it so I will ask again.

"Any idea if Disney has started working on LOST season 1 & 2 for blu? It's been said sales for season 3 where high but that it has surpassed even they're own expectations.

Same goes for FOX when are they finally going to give us a release date for 24 season 1"

Well I don’t understand that…. as I’m an O-FFICIAL Insider on AVS just as all the other Insiders that the red ants love to read there.
So, I guess in effect they’re criticizing the vetting process of both our mods here and the mods on AVS.

On the other hand, on second thought, I think I do understand……..me thinks they don’t like anything Blu.
Now, ask me if I really care.
Issue closed.

Actually I think that the next country on the overseas list deeming special attention is Spain.

It's too freakin freezing to visit the UK this time of year.

My dear, I don’t really follow at all the TV stuff that makes its way onto Blu-ray but, whens I gets the chance I’ll check on LOST season 1 & 2 for you personally IF you PM me more pics that might have a difficult time passing censorship.

I am also the Quality Control dude for this forum, in that regard.
