Problem with my copy of The Game Plan

I just tried to watch the game plan and I get to the menu and it will not allow me to select play movie its like the entire is playing but wont let me select anything. Anyone else have issues with this, this also happened to me with underdog I had to go to special features and select play film from there to get the film to play. If anyone has insight on this your help would be great.

you need an update. Go to sony website or call them they send a disc

I just went to sony's site and looked and the most recent is 3.70 which I already installed to the player, you think I should contact disney.

i assume the remote has fresh batteries?

you may want to try updating to the newest firmware first.

Sony publishes their firmware off the support section of their website. This link will take you there. Select the OS you are using and it will show you a link to the latest firmware available. If you click the right most download link, the site should provide download and install instructions as well as a method for determining the current firmware of your player.

You can also register you player with the link provided in the documentation that came with the unit and Sony will ship you new firmware for the duration of the support agreement.

I'd exchange the disc at the retailer if possible.

the player is telling me 3.70 is installed I will call disney support tommorrow to see what they say about the issues.

I have a BDP S1 in the closet. It runs the same code - lemme plug it in and give it a go. brb.

Mine fired right up, no problems.

1. Have you had problems with any other discs?
2. How old is your player and any issues like this, even intermittent or quirky things?
3. Got any other recent Disney titles you can try?
4. Any marks or flaws visible on the disc?

nope only other problem I had was with underdog did similar things, every other disney title I own works just fine. Player is about 6-7 months old.

I'd call sony then also. Might want to get a record of the problems before your first year is up.
