I smell a new game coming up.

"Name that New DUD player price!"

It will be fun to keep track of the price drops and the blowout give aways with each player as the DUD format keeps disintigrating.

I am amazed at the level of faboyism on this site although I shouldnt be, it is blu-ray.com after all.

I love Blu-ray just as much as the next person but there is a price point where I would just buy an HD DVD Player.

When the cost of a 1080p HD DVD player is equal to that of one Blu-ray movie (it will happen) AND if my favorite movies that are exclusive to HD DVD arent out on Blu yet (Serenity, Casino, Batman Begins, Anchorman, etc) I may just buy one.

Let's face it, when these movies come out on Blu they will just be port overs. They are not going to encode them for Blu.

What if the reason Warner is taking so long to bring out Batman Begins on Blu, is that they ARE remastering it in AVC?
