Our Futureshop there was a code on the receipt for the Shelf

Don't get your hopes up people. These will be 1 per customer, guaranteed!

If you go line up on that morning and see someone getting 2 of them, you have every right to start a scene right then and there. With only 25 per store, you can have 50 individual receipts, but should still be limited to 1 per customer.

Those of you getting receipts for the wife and others, that's a sneaky, but effective, workaround as they can't necessarily tell that you are with each other as a group.

I have a feeling there will be plenty of these to go around. They can now produce after the fact they have a month to get the numbers in on copies sold and produce accordingly.

And to the fact of one per customer, it clearly say 1 per receipt, if you have 5 receipts then you are entitled to 5

My set is now complete. The cashier told me I can bring the receipt into any FS on Dec 16th. Even if you have the receipt, you are not guaranteed a shelf. He then told me to be there early on Dec 16th. I hope they don't limit 1 per person on release day.

why would somebody make a scene? i have somebody getting me the shelf who might be the person getting the 2 or 3 or 4 depending on how many people they are collecting them for, as i have collected all 8 steelbooks and would like the shelf to put them in but obviously i carnt get it as im in the UK so somebody has to get it for me.

are the code limited as well? Or are they printing out more codes than shelves?

Either I went to a FS that doesn't know anything, or one that does, because they did not take any names or have any lists.

If the receipt says come back in December to ANY FS, why start a list now when Dec 16th is the key date? If I go to a store then and I'm first in line and they have none then that would be a PR nightmare.

I don`t think they are limiting the codes. They are printing more codes than there are shelves. The receipt says limited quantities while supplies last. Honestly I don`t even think there`s a code. I don`t see it any where on the receipt.

maybe some stores got only 25 Steelbooks so they might only get 25 shelves and some might've got 30 so might get 30 shelves. We won't know until that day and I think Future Shop will be on thier Christmas hours at that time which means they will open at 9am

We're all worrying too much. A lot of people will buy this without the other 7 or only have a couple or not know or not care. Nothing to worry about - get there around the time the store opens and it shouldn't be a big deal at all.

Northland! From past experience, they never limit! Besides they have 2 different checkout locations.

My thoughts is that the number of Steelbook shelves ordered might have something to do with the amount people are buying today in store.

That's probably why they are having people wait a month, so they can get an idea of how many to release (per store?)

I could be way off though.
