Received:
The Smurfs: Ultimate Collection 2 - Seasons 6-9 from Australia. Must say I was genuinely shocked to see it today, I used the same store that I used before to buy the first box set, and it took 3 weeks to arrive after it was dispatched. This one has taken less than 1 week! ![]() ![]() |

Pre-ordered:
The Inbetweeners Movie. It's a Christmas present for my neighbour, we both agreed that we'd give each other the same film for Christmas this year. I'm buying her the standard DVD (which is all she wants), while in return, she's buying me the Blu-ray. |

Picked up 'Sherlock Homes' so I could add it to the same case as the BR I got (only £3 from CEX) now my mum can watch it. Also picked up Season 4 of Enterprise for £12 in great condition at the same time...
My hubby got 'Romancing the Stone'. While in CEX I was lucky enough to find a copy of 'The Jewel of The Nile' which I picked up for him for £1 to complete the set. Only problem is now I got to sit through the two movies, I just hope I like them. Last edited by zebredy; 11-20-2011 at 10:54 PM. |

Romancing the Stone is a brilliant movie, one of the best of its kind. Kathleen Turner should have had an Oscar nod for it, she's just brilliant in it. Michael Douglas is on top form as well and launched him onto the big screen as he was really a big producer rather than actor at the time. DeVito's fun as well. The sequel is okay but nothing matches the first film.

Just traded in 2 movies on BR and one season 2 boxset of Enterprise at CEX.
Bought: Taking off the in store credit we got, we paid just £28 for Voyager season 3,4 and 5 in the fatter old style cases cases. Only six more seasons to go in total and we will have finally got complete sets for Enterprise, TNG, Voyager and DS9. Would like TOS as well (they had all three in store at the time we were there but we didn't have the cash) but thats not high on my list as I never really got into the series |
