That sewer part was not too bad. The guys come out the same way everytime so it's pretty easy to figure where to hide and anticipate they're attack.

I however got destroyed on the last level on Crushing.

See I didn't find the last level too bad. it was the sewer level for me too and also a bit when find part of your plane wreckage up a tree then you get attacked my waves of pirates, had me stuck for ages

That is weird. The last level was the hardest for me. I died so many times on that first and second part. The second part was the hardest since all those damn crates were falling apart and ruining my cover. The only other kind of hard part was the Church at the end.

Level 6, no new monkeys for me. I think the pirates scared them all away

Yeah, the church was a biotch as well, but still think the sewers was the hardest. That big courtyard outside exiting church is a hard as well with all the snipers and baddies coming on the ground as well.

ZOMG! I just beat this game on crushing and the trophy didn't register or w/e ... i had a new hard drive put into my ps3 and transferred my data via the playstation plus cloud storage ... so maybe because i used that file it didn't click? ... but still i did this for all my games and they all continued to give me trophies despite the data being ferried like that *sigh* silly game

Are you in the right thread? You are talking about Uncharted 1: Drake's Fortune and not Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, right?

If so, my guess would be that you didn't start a new game from scratch. You have to select "New Game" and "Crushing" to get the trophy. You can't use an old save file and start your Crushing playthrough via the Chapter Select menu.

haha ya im in the right place lol .. but i figured it out ... i started the game properly it was just that i started it on my old hard drive and continued it on my new one ... oh well .. i get to play it again i guess, worse things have happened =P

I still need to get the Platinum for this. Got everything except beating it on Hard and Crushing plus one hidden trophy.

Also I just need to beat Uncharted 2 on Crushing to get the platinum.
So I'm thinking once I finish Uncharted 3 on hard, I will then finish the rest of the trophies.
Go to Uncharted 1 and finish it on Hard, back to Uncharted 2 Crushing, then Uncharted 1 Crushing then Uncharted 3 crushing. And hopefully by that time Uncharted 4 is out. (can you tell that I have not as much time anymore to game

)

I am on my Crushing playthrough of this game. Only at Chapter 6 so far. Cant believe I hadnt played the first Uncharted until about a month ago. Especially since I platinumed the second one a year ago.

For shame. You're not the only one who played U2 before U1. A lot of people have missed out and went straight to number 2. Hey, their loss. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is an awesome game.

Not a lot of time to play this weekend, But I am up to Chapter 10 on Crushing. Some of the shoot outs are quite difficult.

Finshed the game on Crushing. I had two trophies to clean up, Brutal Combo Expert and Steel Fist expert, and then got the Platinum.

This game was fun and easy enough to platinum on - aside from the semi-annoying and utterly ludicrous uphill jet ski ride - even I got the plat.

I'm glad I played U2 first, though. If I had played U1 first, I'm not sure I would've checked out U2 at all, which is still my favorite game (haven't loaded U3 yet but will just as soon as I have the time to obsessively devote to it, as I'm sure I will).

Drake's Fortune had a great story, characters, and script, but the gameplay wasn't nearly as polished and the graphics were a little too PS2ish for me. Still, it's one of the few games I liked enough to keep - largely encouraged by my absolute affinity for its amazingly well done sequel - even after getting the platinum, just so I can play through the story again, just like rewatching a favorite movie.
