I am not sure if there as been an official announcement as of yet? Still I will be very happy as I always enjoyed Cinderella.

The pricing on it and how it is release by Disney will affect if I buy it or not.

I'd say it's guaranteed--
The regular non-Diamonds like Alice and Dumbo they can sell any way they want, but they want the Diamond editions to have a unified side-title cover design as a trademark, to sell the idea of having the "complete" collection on your shelf.

Works for me, but then, I'm not anal-retentive about it.

Well, don't know if the trailer counts as official (and they've since learned to be cagey about broadcasting the date too early, after that Dumbo mess):

I do not know if trailers count either, seen too many trailers in the past on Blu-ray releases of movies that even years later still are not even close to be on Blu-ray

On another note, Pocahontas was on CBC (Canadian Broadcasting) yesterday in HD, for fans of that one, I can say it looked pretty darn good PQ wise.

Mulan's coming on next Sunday as well, and isn't that another rumoured title for 2012? I missed Pocahontas as I was driving home. Glad to hear it looked good, as I haven't watched it since it first came out on VHS. I think I'd appreciate it more now.

I can't wait to get Cinderella. I'm not too big on Snow White, but Cinderella was awesome, I always loved Gus.

Yep Pocohantas was looking very sweet, I won't be buying it as it's not one I am interested in but MULAN...next week, really???? I did not know that. I willbe watching it for sure. Mulan is for sure one that will be added in my collection, adore that movie.

I always love the mouse in Cinderella and yeah Gus was the funniest one.

Yep, followed by The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and The Wardrobe (2005):

Nice to see that CBC's doing The Wonderful World of Disney on Sunday nights again. When I was a kid, that's what we looked forward to, a Disney film (and not always the animated ones or newer releases, but stuff like The Apple Dumpling Gang and The North Avenue Irregulars) and Road to Avonlea.

Oh good lord, I'm expecting them to make it EVEN WORSE than the DVD release

The whites of people's eyes should be WHITE, not BLUE! Lowry Digital can go to hell for making Disney movies look like they were made last year! This movie is over 60 years old, it's going to have some grain!! Trying to remove it is just stupid and makes the movie look like crap

That being said, maybe someone can take a good laserdisc transfer and try to fix the Blu-Ray colors up to match it? LOL
