UT 3 selling well on the PS3

The Unreal franchise has always been about modifications; small, large, and extreme. I'm working on one such in my spare time as it is. It takes a little time, but in another year, long after you've forgotten about Halo 3 or Call of Duty 4, there will be some really amazing permutations of Unreal Tournament III out there.

Don't assume that I don't know what Unreal is all about. I played the hell out of the original Unreal Tournament PC for years. There might be some cool mods in a few months but I was not going to lose $64 because in a few months I might enjoy a mod for a couple weeks. UT3 will never be even half what the original was regardless of how good the graphics are. That's why I returned it.

I returned UT3 (for PS3) after about a week. Fun game in general, good vehicles but lacking long term playability. COD4 is much better.

One could easily assume that you dont know what Unreal is all about based on that quote.

How is it lacking in long term playability?

I also played the hell out of UT99. Im interested in what you liked in that, that makes in twice as good as ut3 can ever be.

-they brought back the impact hammer-
-no longer have shield gun-
-rocket launcher has rocket/grenade mode-
-No LG and the sniper rifle is back-


To me, you remind me of the people that claim that the music they listened to in their time is better than all the garbage thats out today. UT99 will always have a special place in my heart but I can enjoy an updated version.
