it is weird, photoshopping weird, its like : look, I have to do my hair before going out of ship, if we pop into any alien life form, have to make a good 1st expression ... awful picture !!!

Probably soon. With stills and the poster hitting, I'd say it's safe to say probably in the next month or two. Sherlock Holmes already has Dark Knight Rises and The Hobbit, but it's a major release so they may want to stick Prometheus with it. Just a thought.

Am sure many Movie goers would echo your excitement for all 3

Not too mention I am looking forward to sherlock holmes as well. Not sure showing a trailer for DKR first is a good Idea though. Might distract many from the main feature

It's a major WB release though, so they this is the best time for them to show it to audiences. Just like the teaser that was with Harry Potter 7.2. They know where their audience is, and they're smart marketing it to such a wide range of people. Just like M:I:4 has the six minute Dark Knight Prologue before it in IMAX. They know it'll get people in the theater.

You know what? science fiction cinema realluy needs the proverbial kick up the arse and the best means of doing so is to go back to classic literary science fiction from the likes of Asimov, Clarke, Heinlein, Harrison and Bova. There really hasn't been an SF film that can match such authors in many a year, and my hopes are that with Scott's career reaching a point of great maturity, that he can make a film that stands alongside the likes of 2001. The genre needs it.

If this film is on the level of Blade Runner and Alien then this film could end up being that.

I so hope somebody Pirates that DKR prologue. I don't have a IMAX cinema near me
