Lions running back Jahvid Best is officially done for the year after being placed on injured reserve with a concussion. With Kevin Smith suffering a high ankle sprain yesterday the team likely needs to sign a running back and can't afford to use a roster spot on Best.

Jenkins is definitely needed back for Arizona but I'm almost hoping Miles is rested for one more week and be ready for the Giants. We don't Miles as much as Jenkins for Arizona.

Continuing a conversation from yesterday to those doubters that said GB would never have anyone on there team like Suh well id just like to point out a interesting report... You guys have someone worse...

The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports that Packers OLB Erik Walden was arrested Friday morning on suspicion of domestic assault.
Walden allegedly assaulted his live-in girlfriend, and will be held in jail through the weekend. This isn't the kind of distraction the 11-0 Packers needed, so it's possible they'll consider releasing Walden. Walden has not been formally charged, but is being accused of a felony. It's believed the incident occurred at around 2:30AM in a Green Bay suburb. The woman was hospitalized, but had no visible injuries, according to police.

if u read that report, it said the packes may release him after this.....so as u can see, if they do end up releasing him, it just goes to show u that the packers as an organization don't take crap like this.

@ least our players aren't constantly flagged for unsportsman like penalties that kill the teams chances of winning.

i hinted @ the fact that ted thompson has a thing about taking on guys like that and a player like finnley may be traded b/c of his off-field antics here and there.

So if Rogers had an issue like this youd be advocating for him to be cut? Somehow I seriously doubt that. Secondly where am I defending what Suh Did? I flat out said like 4-5 pages back he deserved a suspension as to me it looked intentional. All I am arguing here is a comment made yesterday by someone saying the Packers would never have this kind of trouble because the GM never takes players like that.

When the police get involved in domestic cases someone is going to get arrested, deserved or not. We'll have to see if these charges stick. They often don't.

First rule of reporting you write allegedly because in print its liable and they could be sued for printing it. Things don't get reported unless you have sources and witnesses. Cops also wouldn't hold him for a weekend if they did not have evidence, so please stop trying to defend him.

Depends on the state law, here in Michigan if the spouse does not press charges Police do automatically, I do not know the laws in Wisconsin. If it is upto the spouse it is possible out of fear or loyalty the charges are dropped if she does not wish to press charges.

i miss read what u said about it being intentional.....sorry about that one.

rodgers wouldn't do something like this....he's kept his nose clean and is a class act....he proved that w/the whole favre thing.

u can say all u what "WHAT IF??".....but w/rodgers, that would never be an issue.....period.

and like i said, walden has NEVER done anything remotely close to what suh has been doing his whole career so far....so there was nothing there to give any hint that he would do something like this. u're comparing apples to oranges if u're trying to compare what suh did to this.

and who knows, maybe she was running her mouth!!!

I'm not taking sides here Benny, but I think a lot of that has to do with most spousal abuse with the aggressor being female goes unreported. I don't have a source or anything, but I know I have seen on the news before how oftentimes men do not report when they have been abused by their significant other.

oh i know man.....like i said, i'm not defending the guy.....honestly......i've just never been a guy to damn someone until i hear all the facts.

a preliminary report is just that, basic info.

if he gets charged, then take the necessary action against him by all means.

We need Jenkins to bolster our secondary, all our other corners have been good for lately is getting torched all over the field. Hoping Carter will be ready to play soon, tired of seeing James and Brooking be a liability against the run and the pass.
