Lightbulb 3D Blu-ray Forum Improvement Suggestions, Admin & Moderator Discussion

Should Blu-ray.com forums add a 3D Blu-ray Collection tab on the left of the members side-bar much like the "Blu-ray Collection", "PS3 Collection" ect...

I'd like to know what members are into 3D & check out their collections. As of now thumbing through a persons collection of 500+ Blu's to find what 3D Blu's they own is time consuming!

I'm already at over 50 3D Blu's & find it to be more exclusive for media..

Seeing members "Steelbook collections" would be awesome as well!

Any thoughts? Moderators?

You can add custom sections in your collection and then move titles to that custom section. Check mine out, I have 3D and Steelbook sections

Thanks, that's nice.. I hope more people organize like that, I'll be working on mine... As of tomorrow I'll have 56 3D Blu's..

It's also nice (due to a Brain Injury) when I'm mobile and shopping for Blu-rays & can't remember what titles I own, that I can look it up on my ipad in any store & verify what DVD's, Blu-Rays, & games I already own... Too many times I've bought 5-10 movies on sale only to find out I already own one or more..

I still have a bunch of updating to go as I'm new, but this is great solid info! Thanks!

Myself (and others) just make a category in our own collections. As it's numerical it ends up at the top of the various collections.
That's one way of doing it.

Nice collection, I see you have the same "Bolt 3D" dilemma, I couldnt pass on the "buy 4 get $40 off" deal @ BB, I'll probably end up parting with it either to another member or greedbay?

yup, nothing like a little addiction every now in then to spoil yourself...

I finally got my 3D section made. I had to get a class on how to set it up, but got it..

Actually I learned how this morning from the "how many 3D Blu-rays do you have?" thread

FYI, I takes four mouse clicks (and no typing) to find any member's BD3D titles. So not having a separate tab for it is not that big a deal.

Help a guy out, what 4 clicks ..

Because you're correct, not everyone has a separate tab..

Update: that & I have to add a tap for pre orders, I only put them in my 3d tab if I have them in hand, but I did put pre orders in my Regular collection: not all, stuff like Kung Fu panda 2 3D isn't available yet but is pre ordered?

Yeah, seeing as you still have an hd-dvd drive (like I do) on your 360, you could add an HD-DVD section too. Most people are over that, other than resenting some transfers that were made with HDDVD in mind that would have been unadulaterated masterpieces if they had been done with just bluray in mind.

But most people don't care.

Just curious, how are you liking the 3D on your new projector & 100" of fun?

Or you can put them under "Ordered" along with regular Blus you ordered. It's in the drop down menu when you organize your Blus.

yea i couldn't pass on it either. i even ended up buying 2 toy story 3's to get the $40 off deal and plan on selling the other one. the sony bolt i got off ebay for $25 or so. if i can get rid of it for $20 i'll be happy. i'm not big on slips but the lenticular one on the bb one is an added bonus.

Talking Improvement suggestions and moderator discussion

Can a moderator make the13thman's thread on region b blu rays into a sticky and possibly replace the existing one?

AND

possibly do the same for "how many 3d blu rays do you own".... It has Paul's extensive list of 3d titles that everyone might enjoy seeing; over 500 titles.

Sorry to have to ask like this. Please delete as needed.
