Default Had no idea

I honestly had no idea that there was a so called war between HD DVD and Blu-Ray. Sure I knew they were competing formats, but I didn't know until recently the extent of the battle. If you want to call it that, Blu-ray is obviously dominating. And for good reason, because the quality is far superior to that of HD DVD. i just got my Blu-ray player a few weeks ago and already have 25 movies and more on the way. It's an addiction I swear. I only have a 720p TV for now, but still the quality is stunning. And yes I must agree that Warner going exclusively with Blu basically means the beginning of the end for HD DVD. Taht's a huge share of the market, not to mention it's going to sway other production studios to do the same.
