I e-mailed Buena Vista about the possibility of the Scream trilogy on Blu and they said although it was not currently in development that they would "pass it on" to the appropriate department(s) for consideration.

LOL.

I'm sure they realize that these movies will sell. It's just a matter of time.

I sure hope they do. The "Scream" trilogy has a combined domestic box office gross of over $280 million... which is monsterous. The first two movies soared to over $100 million each. In comparison, as popular as the "Saw" movies are -- today's hot horror franchise -- none of them has accomplished that feat even with the inflated cost of ticket prices.

It's actually tough to believe that the original "Scream" is 12 years old.

Dimension/Disney has a lot of horror/fantasy in their vaults, including "Halloween H2O", "The Crow", a few "Hellraiser" films, and more.

My guess is that it will be released on BD right before Scream 4 hits theatres.

I'd like to own all 3 for nastalgic purposes. Not exactly great movies, or even scary for that matter, but I liked them when I was younger.

The scream trilogy is available on Blu-Ray in Germany.

But doesnt look like it's worth a buy (I don't speak German but going by the reviews and 1 stars it's gotten, goodness knows what they look like)

I would buy the first two in BD that's for sure.

The "Scream" movies inspired a whole series of teen horror movies including my favorite of the genre ("I Know What You Did Last Summer").

Considering the horrible sequel to that movie has seen a Blu release it's high time the "Scream" movies saw a BD release.

I wish there's a surprise blu ray release in early April, highly highly doubt it though

it's only logical imo, what better way to get us more excited for the fourth movie?! but studios don't seem to think straight..
