Okie, First of all plasma dose have the best vivid PQ and black levels but not necessary brightest IMO. I tend to think LCD is brighter cause it has back lights but that dose not really effect the overall PQ. U dont want the picture to e too bright. It will look unnatural. Plasma burn in issue is the thing in the past already. It should not be concern anymore. As far as PIONEER, Yes it dose carry some really pricy tags but their PLAMA PQ is really awesome. U can allways look into other plasma maker such as Panasonic. Their plasma is just as good as anything else without paying the hih price tag like Pioneer. U cant really go wrong with the 2 P's . I do alot gaming on my plasma and it has no problem and the PQ is just imazing. Crystal clear! I think it all come down with how much u can afford and what size u r looking for.
