Best Buy Blue ray displays

Hi all new to this forums.

I'd like to get some advice. I recently purchase a PS3 for the the blue ray player support and stopped by Blue-Ray display both and was watching the tid bits of previews on it and it was really amazing. Things came almost to live you can actaully see the seperation between the movie actors in pirates of the carabean and the backdrop. things look almost 3 dimentional on this display.

My question is when i hooked up my ps3 to my hd-tv ( its an older samsung 1080i dlp 50" ) i don't get that picture...granted it still great but not like what i saw at best buy.

I hooked my ps3 to my parents 42" plasma ( a panasonic ) and still cannot get that clarity

I used HDMI form both tv's..

what gives. any suggestion

What would i need to get that kinda of picture i saw at the best buy display.
