Yea, Robocop, lol!

Personally, I think Criterion is too over-rated, a little pretentious for me.

If I want to buy a movie for $45, I will look to them!

Just to let you know, if you ever make a custom cover for this film, it's RoboCop, not Robocop due to CamelCaps. Agreed Criterion is still priced way out there. Even with the sales they're still too expensive.
How about custom covers for The Maltese Falcon and The Treasure of the Sierra Madre using the film posters? I was going to put the second disc from the Three-Disc edition from The Maltese Falcon so I could have The Maltese Falcon (1931)/Satan Met a Lady. Maybe under the details a blurb which mirrors the three disc set? Up to anyone. Oh, and to keep the same layouts and UPC.
Kinda eager to also ask for custom covers, everything the same just Blu-ray style (AVC codec, DTS-MD Master Audio 1.0 lossless, etc.) for the Warner Gangster Collections, Errol Flynn boxsets including individual releases, Greta Garbo, Humphrey Bogart, Cary Grant, James Stewart, James Cagney and the rest of the Signature and et. al Collections. Perhaps also with a Blu slim variant cover?
BUT I'm still looking for a custom 4-Disc Viva Elite case cover for the Jack Ryan Film Collection. Again using the original covers. Thanks!

If you've done what is required to be able to download you need to log out of your account and then log back in. That should allow you download access.

Ps. I am not a fan of Criterion's catalogue; I think it's full of boring nonsense. See, I can do it too!

Yeah, they are over priced. I only bought the ones I have because they are some of my favorites and they were on sale.

tmscrapbook did one for me a while back that is available on Customaniacs.

I did a "Never Say Never Again" custom cover using the UK Quad Poster as a source when I did my series of 007 covers. It's not quite faithful to the poster, but then the poster was horizontal so i needed to rework it a little.

I have been accused of settling into a template that I feel comfortable with. But after some reflection I decided that wasn't such a bad thing after all.

At least it might become at some point my recognizable "style" so its easier to spot when people take my creations and post them elsewhere as their own work - you know who you are!

Working on a custom cover for "The Eagle Has Landed". It's an entertaining WWII adventure movie from 1976 based on the novel by Jack Higgins and directed by John Sturges of "The Great Escape" fame. I'm at the point right now when I am trying to decide where to put the synoposis and credits. As you know I had to drop the info box on the back cover for "The Sea Wolves".

[The Blu-ray has not yet been released stateside, but the British Blu-ray is region-free so it's part of my collection]

Note: The movie is a Columbia release stateside so the studio logo still needs to be changed.

No worries. I think there's something to be said for a standard cover design when the Blu's are sitting next to each other on the shelf

I really like your style, I love the boldness of your designs. I'm a huge fan of simple original posters, especially Quads.

I'd love to see you do some of the great artwork designs Disney used for Pete's Dragon, Condorman etc.

Thanks! I can't believe I missed that!

I ditched my Armageddon cover and reverted back to Philosopher's Stone, the original cover I was creating. Keeping the Stone for Armageddon was lazy. I know how to create asteroids in Photoshop, so when I go back to Armageddon, I'll do that.

I could not find a large enough logo for Philosopher's Stone to have part of it on the bottom. That's why it's in the corner. I will be printing out some today to see how they look and go from there.

"Condorman" is on my radar I actually prefer the UK Quad but have not been able to find a high enough resolution version to use yet.

Having YOUR own style for the covers you make for yourself is not a bad thing at all. Myself, I put my own personal logo in with the credits section now so if I see it poster anywhere else I can easily spot it.

I don't mind others printing my creations but claiming them as their own is pathetic.

Did you get the idea after seeing the Toy Story short before The Muppets with the Condorman toy? Both my buddy and I were the only ones in a packed theater laughing at that joke. Found a DVD copy of the movie the other day. Boy does it bring back memories.

Condorman!
