I think this sites name should be changed to bd.com - afterall we dont talk about digital versatile discs or compact discs, instead we talk of dvd and cd. For me it is BD and everything else sounds stupid. But ofcourse a internet sites name can be what ever without problems if it does its job..

North by Northwest has obviously already been released, and Dial M for Murder is due also on November 12th. But currently no sign of a seperate "Strangers on a Train" pre-order in the UK yet ![]() |

I already have North By Northwest, and I have Dial M For Murder on pre-order and ordered the US release of Strangers On A Train a couple of weeks ago
Where are the titles like I Confess, Stage Fright and The Wrong Man? |

Again, Warner Bros have announced this too late for me. I've already got my Strangers On A Train from the US, so have just kept my Dial M pre-order.

![]() More like Effin' bloody miracle, if those obscene WBUK idiots actually manage to get this out by Nov. 12th. |

I see "BD" or "Blu-ray Disc" fairly often. Ditto "Blu" or even "Blu-ray DVD". I tend to use "BD" myself, because "Blu-ray" is a bit of a kludge, and just sounds like marketing-speak to me. Back to the Hitchcock releases: if WB can do the kind of job it did on "North by Northwest", it'll be stellar. Doubt they'll go to that extent of clean-up for most of the titles, though. |
