.. back on topic, just got The Lady Vanishes (Criterion) delivered today. Will be watching it soon. Cant wait for more of his stuff to be released. NBNW is one of my classical favs.

From the cast list, it looks like a bundling of the 3 Warner Hitchcock BDs - NxNW, Dial M and Strangers on a Train. Nothing special.

North by Northwest has obviously already been released, and Dial M for Murder is due also on November 12th.
But currently no sign of a seperate "Strangers on a Train" pre-order in the UK yet

I already have North By Northwest, and I have Dial M For Murder on pre-order and ordered the US release of Strangers On A Train a couple of weeks ago

Again, Warner Bros have announced this too late for me. I've already got my Strangers On A Train from the US, so have just kept my Dial M pre-order.

Might not suit the point you want to make, maybe, but hardly irrelevant.

I see "BD" or "Blu-ray Disc" fairly often. Ditto "Blu" or even "Blu-ray DVD". I tend to use "BD" myself, because "Blu-ray" is a bit of a kludge, and just sounds like marketing-speak to me.


Back to the Hitchcock releases: if WB can do the kind of job it did on "North by Northwest", it'll be stellar. Doubt they'll go to that extent of clean-up for most of the titles, though.
