It appears Shock Records will release the Freddie Francis-helmed Tales from the Crypt anthology film (1972), featuring Joan Collins, Peter Cushing, Patrick Magee and Ralph Richardson, on Blu-ray on 2 November. No information has been provided on technical specifications or special features at this time.

Personally, I'd recommend waiting to see how it turns out. Shock did a lackluster job on VAMPIRE LOVERS.

Found 3 listings for it, None of which have stock. It's supposed to be released today yet shock have withdrawn the listing on their site, Hmmmm.

Sent them an e-mail to confirm if it's been delayed or cancelled etc....They did the same with State Of Grace though didn't they

Still not received a reply from Shock about this release, Just goes to show how ignorant they are toward their consumers.

Same thing happened with Vampire Lovers - no listing on its website, no mention in "News" when it was delayed. Never got a follow-through when I rang them, and was told they'd e.mail me the details.

Does Shock actually want people to buy its products?!

No, It's in limbo. Shock never got back to me about it. Nowhere has stock online so don't hold your breath to find it anywhere. No idea if it's a temporary delay or it's been binned!

It would be a real shame if it has indeed been canned. I don't see MGM releasing this in the US anytime soon.

I'll be waiting for a review before ordering, Shipping from Australia to the UK has doubled in the last few months, Hope it's not another 1080i job like The Vampire Lovers
