How did the Xenomorph egg get on-board the Sulaco at the end of Aliens? Did the Queen have an egg tucked between her legs the whole flight?

She didn't have her giant egg-sac, so she must have.

Anyway, this didn't happen at the end of "Aliens," it happened at the beginning of "Alien 3," so we're made to assume that it had to happen at the end of "Aliens." Which ultimately points to...a bad and lazy plot device to discount the events of "Aliens" and start "Alien 3" fresh.

I can buy the idea of two facehuggers hitching a ride on the Queen more than an egg mysteriously appearing on the ceiling.

Don't forget Bishop disappeared for a while with the dropship. It's possible he secretly picked up an egg to take back.

When Ripley talks to him in 3 he knows an alien was on board, how would he know that unless he brought it on board himself.

It's also possible the Queen stuck an egg inside the dropship. The eggsac just holds the eggs, they still come from inside her. Maybe she popped another one out on the way up to Sulaco. The egg may have still needed to mature leaving time for the Sulaco to travel close to the prison planet.

Ever wonder why Obi-wan doesn't use force speed to get thru the barriers at the end of Menace.

I mean they used it to get away from the droids at the beginning of the movie, why wouldn't he use it then? Seems like it may have been a good time, no?

Also alot of severe inconsistancies with the Jedis force sense. One scene they can locate one ship among thousands and detect how his mother feels accross the galaxy and the next he can't seem to sense that Padme has twins as oppose to one baby

As much as I love the original "Speed" a bus traversing 60+feet of "Gap in Highway" is certainly a gap in logic .

Not sure why Keanu needed to speed the subway train up at the end. keeping speed at the constant they were at would have at least allowed the train to slow up before bursting out to the public..

Twister has a small scene when the caravans are off to intercept a tornado after the sky goes "green". One of the bigger vehicles is parked, then it takes off, then its backed to being parked ready to take off again, then takes off .

Speaking of Speed Neo shoulda shot out a few tires before the bus got over 60.

But then the movie would be over

Yeah, the way they shot that gap-jumping scene was kinda cheap too.

If the original "The Taking of Pelham 123" taught me anything, shouldn't the subway have some kind of automated failsafe/cutoff anyway? Yeah, speedng the train up would have made it worse then too.

The filmmakers just wanted one more 'splosion for the end of the movie.

While he was initially chasing the bus, I don't know if he would have known how fast the bus has gone and whether or not the bomb was armed. It could have been armed hours before he showed up at the scene for all he knew. It was probably better that he didn't take the chance (...and we got a thrilling movie out of it ).

Now I have this funny image in my head of Bishop's torso waddling around with an alien egg under his arm. To be fair, it does make sense for the story; those androids are always trying to smuggle the alien back home.

I see what you mean about the Queen now though. I think that theory makes the most sense to me.

8 Mile was a really good movie but Kim Bassinger and her perfectly coiffed 'trailer trash' hair was very nearly a deal-breaker.

in regards to the Spidey/Doc Ock fight...

in the comics that's the point. If spidey lands a hit it's pretty much over. The thing is that 4 extremely fast and flexible arms are almost to much for his reflexes and spider sense to handle so he has a very hard time making contact.

The movies just decided the more accurate comics were wrong. (more accurate being relative considering )

This is something that turn me off a lot of sitcom in the 80's and 90's. They quickly turn into fashion shows. You would have the actors dressed up in stuff that was way more expensive for the type of characters they played. Usually started mild but as season went on just would turn ridiculous. Some that come to mind, Family Ties, The Cosby Show, The Facts Of Life....

GAP IN LOGIC = in Terminator Salvation, how did the huge Harvester robot make it all the way to the gas station without the humans inside hearing it? Does the Harvester robot have a special stealth mode that allows it to move silently like a ninja?

So, everyone is waking up, and progessing back up through the different dreams. Cobb tells Ariadne that she and Fischer have to go. So, they jump. They wake up.

Cut to everyone getting out of the van. Eames (as the Uncle) and Fischer have a heart to heart, the rest are chilling with air tanks under the water.

Meanwhile, Cobb and Saito are chilling in Limbo. Saito is old man river, and Cobb remembers and, presumably, offers to shot Saito to get him back.

Well, what is the amount of time between the van hitting the water and them getting out? I know "time slows down" the further down you go, but I would think that it wouldn't take long to drown... no?

Maybe I'm just overthinking it.
Yes, they completely broke their own rules that they made in the beginning in Inception in regards to how much time passes. It simply doesn't work logically but still a very entertaining movie.

District 9 is another one that comes to mind. It is an entertaining movie but you have to completely throw your brain out the window for it to work
[Show spoiler]. They spend all this time (several years) to get energy.. when that plan fails .... then it turns out there is another way that they could have done years ago the whole time..

It was dropped off by the ship. But, you would think, they would hear the ship as well. Maybe, in the future all humans have hearing loss, from all the nuclear explosions, and other explosions going on.

Ahh, but you do hear an egg opening after the final credits of "Aliens".

Granted "Quantum of Solace" wasn't the greatest, but what happened to Mathis? He was talking to Fields and the Colonel at the party, then Fields excuses herself and walks up towards Bond and Camille as they come down the stairs. Bond and Camille immediately get in a Range Rover and drive away when they get pulled over by the police and find Mathis beaten to a pulp in the back of the truck. They literally had about one minute to interrogate Mathis and throw him in the truck before the valet brought it to Bond.
