According to the BVA, it has indeed been pulled from the theatrical release schedule. At least in the UK. It's not much of a shock since the first wasn't a success at the box office and the sequel has been undergoing lots of release changes and reshoots.

I loved the first one.
it was a trashy popcorn flick and succeeded in being just that.
wasnt trying to be anything else.

So true! That's how I have described the film since it's release!
Anything with Christopher Lloyd - I'm right there.

I thought it did quite well thats why they green lit a sequel.

It was a surprise hit with critics and they're taking a bit of a risk with DD hoping that there will be a bit more buzz around it. But it opened up at Number 6 opening weekend and went downhill after that.

Will certainly have a look. The first one is what it is, a trashy horror comedy. Also the Hoff getting eaten is a must see, also let's not forget Lloyd and Gary Busey. Even with those three end up reading a telephone book is worth seeing.

I'd like to see the sequel theatre or blu. But Ive grown apart from the cinema the prices are becoming a joke when you can add a few £ to what a single ticket is to buy it on blu ray sometimes Evan cheaper eg. Fast give cost me £6 for a triple play from blockbusters

How come your annoyed? Im actually glad that we get to own it in blu ray faster and it costs it little more than a admission ticket.

Well I don't know about nekromantik but I'm annoyed because I really wanted to see it in the cinema as I don't own a 3D TV and since it was actually shot in 3D, unlike the first one, there's even more reason to go to the cinema. Sure we get it earlier, but that doesn't mean we get a btter expierence.

So I'm really annoyed as well and this is just another reason to hate Entertainment In Video. For me, they're a slapdash company who have little thought and care for their consumers, with their only intention to get the product out in some form or other. The only thing I given them credit for is releasing it on Blu-ray 3D, rather than just regular Blu-ray or even DVD.

I suppose it will damage the us theatrical release as when it's comes out here people will be able to get perfect quality rips of the movie online.

I'll be importing this one. Might also pick up the UK 3D release of the first film as well since it's dirt cheap on Amazon UK.

Just make sure you have a region-free player, as all EIV titles are region-locked.

I'm Region Free and 1080/50i compatible, so it's all good. I got EIV's release of The Crow.
