But for my Money personally yes you should have waited, I will not upgrade or buy Any PC equipment until 1 the situation in Thailand is resolved which caused HDD price spikes, and 2. Ivybridge is out, the new 2011 chipsets are going to destroy anything on the market today.

Not unless you know where to shop. I just built my super computer and the price wasn't that big between US and here. I bought most of my parts online at newegg.ca or canadadirect.com.
