Groovy! I've always wanted to see all the Bond films, having only seen two of them in their entirety. I hope the artwork is better than that of the releases which are currently available.

Original poster art would be nice!

Either they will rebrand the entire collection, or continue with the previous packaging. I'm expecting the latter. Will be great to complete the collection either way!

I doubt they will continue on with the original line, as that's kind of defubct now, as there hasn't been a new release from that range in almost 3 years, not to mention we didn't get two films that were released everywhere else.

Considering it's the 50th anniversray this years I'm expecting a brand new line, with potentially brand new extras for all the films, as opposed to the Blu-ray equivalent of the Ultimate Editions that we have had up until now. Also they're hyping this up quite a lot and I don't think they'd goes to so much trouble just to say all the remaining films will be released this year.

I'm wondering though will this new range inlcude Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace or just Dr. No - Die Another Day?

That's going to be a loooong time. You might as well just get everything that's out, rather than waiting for something to end that's been produced on a near-continuous basis for almsot 50 years.

If they don't continue the Volume sets, I hope MGM offers some kind of packaging replacement program. I wouldn't mind having to pay for it since I really don't want to have to sell the sets and re-buy separate releases.

My collection already looks goofy enough having the 3 Volume sets alongside single releases of The Man with the Golden Gun, License to Kill, Casino Royale, and Quantum of Solace.

MGM/Fox have a track record of hating our guts with regards to knocking new designs out whenever they feel like, so I'd imagine we're out of luck. They should release the other two volumes, with matching single releases and a complete set 50th anniversary edition.

This is exactly the reason why I didn't buy any of the films on Blu-ray, apart from Daniel Craig's current two, and just kept my Ultimate Edition DVDs for the first 20, as I just knew something like this would occur for the 50th anniversary.

So, I have no problems with picking up a complete set.

I never liked the volume sets to begin with. I hate how random the selections are.

Instead of random volumes they should have done "actor collections" (Connery, Moore, etc.).

I think they were worried certain sets wouldn't sell. They actor sets with the UE DVD's (I think they went over the top with those ones) but where do you put Lazenby or Timothy Dalton?

I guess they could do boxsets by decade:

The '60's:

Dr. No, Goldfinger, From Russia With Love, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice and On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

The 1970's:

Diamonds Are Forever, Live and Let Die, The Man With the Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker.

The 1980's:

For Your Eyes Only, Octopu$$y, A View To A Kill, The Living Daylights and Licence To Kill.

The 1990's:

Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough.

The Whateverthey'recalled 00's:

Die Another Day, Casino Royale and Quantum Of Solace.

They'd have to charge different amounts for each set. But I wonder if they'll be putting in Never Say Never Again and Casino Royale with theses sets now?

They're not officially for of the EON canon of Bond films and are entierly seperate, so I very much doubt it.

It might be a bit awkward, but I was thinking that they could have just bundled Lazenby with Dalton.

I'm curious about that as well. Will they wait for Skyfall? Will they include the Craig movies at all? I don't think they will ever include Never Say Never Again or Casino Royale (1967) in a boxset with the others.

But they do now own the rights to them, so it would be silly to waste them. Maybe they'll be released together? I'm sure a lot of fans would want them to have a decent release.

Yes, but they and fans consider them seperate as techincally they're unofficial Bond films - Casino Royale is a spoof and Never Say Never Again is just a remake of Thunderball, albeit a parody one.

Those two might be released together, but Casino Royale is already set for a release on its own in August.
