Jacob's Ladder is one of my favorites as well and a few reviewers have compared the story (based on one theory) to that. But it is similar in that they're both about descents into madness.

Second BB T&S haul. Gremlins I got on Amazon. BTW I asked Amazon if they could make sure that a slipcover was on the Gremlins case. She said she would make a note on the order... my ass. I open the box and no slip. I got Seven for $10.99, they forgot to take the sale off so they gave it to me for that much. Only thing that sucked was they didn't let me use one of my $5 coupons on it. Seven for $5 would have been so nice.

They had left the batman digibook pricetag up so I managed to get that one for $5.99. I was the first one to do the trade in and the cashier was confused so it didn't even really occur to her that the $5 really shouldn't have been taken off the adjusted price

Good! I'm glad you didn't get one. I'm sure they didn't have them anyways. Gremlins has been out for quite a while and slips are only incuded on first pressings.

What crawled up your bunghole? I saw a guy get it recently from Target and it had a slipcover on it. Why would you get so offended.

I'm not really offended, but it bothers me when someone asks to get a slip and actually expects to get it. We all know that slips are NOT guaranteed, so why bother even asking?

Because I rather try and end up empty handed than never trying at all and wondering if I could have got one.

That's why I loathe ordering online. I need to see what I am getting. He tried, and you know what? I probably would have too if I had any interest in buying from the internet. Slips are not guaranteed, you're right, but there is no reason to jump on somebody just because they took the chance to ask for something. He was paying money out and wanted to get his money's worth.

Mine did, but I don't know. Fragile was a little harsh, but then again I hate ordering online to begin with. I only ever did it to get OOP DVDs back when I was still into DVDs. They didn't come with slips of course, but they never had any to begin with. If you haven't opened the one from Amazon maybe you could ship it back for a refund since the Target price is only a few cents more than Amazon's judging by the site.

Okay. I like Never Been Kissed okay, but that cover art is just this side of abominable. Never saw Just My Luck, but would probably like to check it out to see another film with Chris Pine before he became James Tiberius Kirk II. No interest in John Tucker. And you shouldn't care about your haul being "chick flicks". I'm with those who can't really abide that term as it is way too stereotypical. Look at my collection and you'll see quite a few. Good for you man for standing up for what you like.
