Agreed. Even his mainstream, big-budget films (xmen: first class) are good.

I wish this movie would have a wider release. I think it's only playing at two or three theaters here in Calgary right now.

Seeing how this one was really beautiful on the big screen (a lot more visually interesting than I expected; agreed about Cronenberg's expert direction/composition), I can only imagine it'll look great on BD.

This movie has been made before hasn't it? I can't find it but I know I've seen the exact same story in another, I think German although the lady was Russian, movie.

I hope they match and I can get it for $18.99 because I pre-ordered it from my gold box, but this time around the discount is already enough where I'm about even with BB if you add on tax (and Amazon delivers to my door), so I'll be keeping that pre-order no matter what.

Missed this at the theaters and looking forward to watching it next week. Cronenberg directing a period film about Freud and Jung! And a very good cast, too!

Also looking forward to watching the extra on Blu where Cronenberg talks about his favorite films. I hope he talks about his past films as well. I want to see Scanners (just turned 30 last year) get a Blu release soon!

This is a good movie. I think the only Cronenberg movie from this century that I don't really care for is Cosmopolis, but maybe I need to watch it again sometime to see if I still hold the same opinion.
