For argument's sake, Cars 2 the movie could also be considered a "Glitch" in Pixar's lineup of enjoyable storylines. With this one, I kept checking my watch wondering when it would be over. One criticism: This was definitely not a movie made for racing fans. If it was, they would've shown the race without interrupting it every few moments to focus on Towmater, who was the star this time. We'd see a few seconds of racing, then cut to Towmater. Repeat, and completely stall the sense of a thrilling, fluent car race, making the race more of an afterthought... Just an opinion of course.

if i'm not mistaken, it is the Panasonic DMP-BDT210 which amazon is selling right now for $126. i got the same one last summer from fry's for around $109. it's a good player to have. i use that one for my Panasonic 50GT30 in my room and i use my PS3 for my Panasonic 54VT25 downstairs in the living room. no complaints on any of my equipment.

Do you know if the BMP-BDT110 is the same except with out built in wifi? BB here only has that version and I have some gift certificates that I can use. I wish I could get the oppo 93 also but I still have an oppo 83 for regular blu-ray and dvd so I can't really afford to just scrap it and get the 93. I'm really disappointed in Samsung, can't belieive a company of their magnitude can't resolve this in a timely fashion. Tim |

The Panny 210 has built-in wifi and one HDMI output The Panny 110 does NOT have built-in wifi, but it does have one HDMI output. If you buy one of the above Panasonic 3D blu-ray players, you can STILL send in the mail in offer for a free copy of Avatar 3D. But time is running out so you have to do it very soon. ![]() |

Next up, I'm hoping to buy the Panasonic SC-BTT770 for surround sound and another copy of Avatar that I plan to keep in it's packaging this time. It might end up being a rare blu-ray down the road ![]() So I would say you won't be disappointed with any of the Panasonic players and you won't have problems playing Cars or any other movie. Plus you will get Avatar for free ![]() |

Hey everybody,
I'm British and haven't seen anybody post a more specific reply from Samsung. I e-mailed them yesterday about the issue, having updated the firmware, and got this reply. Quote:

Well decided to get the Panny 110 as that is all BB had in Canada. The Samsung will be relegated to the bedroom for 2D play. I noticed that the last firmware update was back in September. So they never had to do an update to get the disks to play properly. Makes you wonder why Samsung is so incompatible.

Facts are: they failed to fix the issue & FEB is about here? 6 months later this thread will still be going ( I hope I'm wrong), but regardless. Now they re working with Disney?? 45 day return, factory warrantee my ash! I want to return it to the company & get my money back. It's the only 3D player that fails to do what it's designed for, so how do we win? A lawyer over $200 bucks? Not worth it. I truly should have returned it, I had a window, but placed faith in Samsung to pull through. Lesson learned. I just hope other understand! |

Samsung has finally released a new firmware update, version 1022. This seems to have fixed the glitches for the Cars 2 3D movie. I don't get the scene loops anymore while watching the movie. Just an FYI I have the BD-D5500 bluray player. You all should check it out and let me know if it fixed it for your player.

I'll have to see if they've downloaded it for my 5700 too. While I don't have a 3D player, I have had my share of issues with the latest Disney movies. I'm constantly unplugging my player like a frackin computer
