Saw both Benji movies of the 70's in theaters (then again who from that time did not see them in theaters )

I can't remember the last time I saw either one of them but it as to be at least 25 years if not 30 years, in short, a heck of a long time ago

wow, I admit I have a few Goodtimes dvds, and they actually have some respectable public domain releases. But I certainly would be pretty concerned about the overall quality pqwise of the bd.
guess we'll find out in March.

I saw the '77 Benji in the theatres. As cute as the brand was it didnt make it out of the 70's.

I wonder if they could actually drum up some extra features?

That's the one I want. My son and I saw it in the theater when it first came out. Good movie.

Found this Bluray triple feature of Benji movies for anybody interested. Not a bad price too. Would be around $5 per title after delivery.

from an Ammy review i just read, the blu IS STILL in 1.33:1 fullframe, and NO EXTRAS.

$5 is the max I will pay for this

I saw this at Walmart this morning for 9.96, picked it up, read the back, put it back down. (Sigh) I really wanted this, but not 1.33:1, and, if I am remembering correctly, no lossless audio. Sorry, I just could not pull the trigger on this... maybe at 5 bucks.... maybe. Very sad. But hell, I have lots of stuff the grandkids can watch.

I got this today. I remember seeing it many times when I was a kid and thought my daughter would like it (she's almost 4). Picture quality it pretty poor, not much better than a DVD. The print is also far from perfect as you can see a few specks and scratches here and there. As was mentioned, it's fullframe. I honestly wasn't expecting much in terms of PQ so I can't say I'm surprised.
