Just viewing amazon trends over the last few weeks( I know this isnt representative of the whole market), I think we could see a bump.

Whew. With all these predictions, I think it'd be just genius if someone created a Nielson prediction thread.

It'd be even greater if they made it a sticky and placed it right above the sticky for this thread.

What's that? Someone did so? Wow.

It's not HD-DVD, it's HD DVD.

There's no hyphen.

You know, there's a "Report Post" button on all the posts. If the mods want to move the predictions, that would be the way to get their attention.

I realize that this was not one of the biggest weeks in terms of releases, but here's to hoping that the YTD and SI tick upwards...

We all know who is going to win, now it's simply a matter of how much of a slaughter is it going to be.

LOL! Like sheep (HD DVD) led to slaugther...what a sight that would be! I wonder if we can recycle some of the discs components to make something more useful out of it (and I am not just talking coasters)?!

I disagree...

there is a need to separate HD and DVD...it's the HD version of DVD...

Blu-ray is elite...so it gets it's own name

It is separated, by a space.
You can't really disagree with something that's factual. The copyrighted name is "HD DVD", not "HDDVD" or "HD-DVD"
