Yes, it has a production budget that is in between the production budgets that Pirates 1 and Pirates 2 had.

It wont be the end. They are writing the script for Pirates of the Caribbean 5.

Yes, especially after Pirates 2 and Pirates 3, that were being rushed in production.

Question Question about Pirates of the Caribbean 5's full movie title

Does anyone have any ideas or guesses as to what Pirates of the Caribbean 5's full movie title will be ? . I have two ideas as to what i think could be Pirates of the Caribbean 5's full movie title. I think it could either be titled as Pirates of the Caribbean: Winds and Tides or it could be titled as Pirates of the Caribbean: The Winds and Tides.

POTC part five? Really? Do these phrases mean anything?

Run it's course
Ad nauseum
Enough is enough
Stop already
Give us a break
Think of the children

Really, this is a franchise that caught everyone by surprise and started great and just got progressively more convoluted and impossible to deal with as it went along. The plot just became a pile of spaghetti. Ugh.

I'd rank them in release order as well.

Why do you think one of those may be the title?
Just wondering if you have heard something that I may have not.

They should bring in Will Turner (Orlando) back, of course he will look as ugly or deformed as Davy Jones but still would make a better story with Elizabeth in it.

No he would not the only reason Davy Jones looked the way he did was when Clipso betrayed him when he went and seen her and she was not there.

If you've seen Pirates 4 i'm guessing you may have remembered that scene in Pirates 4 where the character named Philip, who that was the missionary in Pirates 4 that mentions something to the Mermaid named Syrena, about the "the Winds and Tides". It's mentioned near the end of the movie and left me thinking and strongly under the impression that, Pirates of the Caribbean 5's full movie title is going to be either "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Winds and Tides" , or "Pirates of the Caribbean: Winds and Tides". There is also about two other times that it's mentioned in the movie, there is that time in the movie were we see Barbossa with the British and he mentions something to the british he's with and says something about "Winds and Tides". Then there is that scene at the end of Pirates 4, where Angelica mentions to Jack Sparrow that there are jewels that rule the "Winds and Tides", which are on Blackbeards sword in Pirates 4 that Barbossa takes from Blackbeard at the end of Pirates 4, that is after Barbossa stabs Blackbeard. I don't think it's just a coincidence that, that term "Winds and Tides" or "The Winds and Tides", is mentioned more then once in Pirates 4. I think that was done on purpose because of Pirates of the Caribbean 5, and that term being the second half of Pirates of the Caribbean 5's title.

I don't understand the pages of winging about a film you are sure you won't like. If they make it - don't go see it. Your life will not end. Trust.

Yeah, I decided not to take it as a joke even though i knew it was joke because when you think about it, Why wouldn't kids want to see more of these Pirates of the Caribbean movies ? . That's why i said before in my previous post that every time i've gone to the movie theaters to see these Pirates of the Caribbean movies, i've seen kids that were there to see these Pirates of the Caribbean movies as well, not just adults.

I think At World's End would've been much better if they'd trimmed some of the side stories and kept the betrayals to a minimum. By the end, I had no idea who was on who's side. Now that I've seen it a few times and understand all of the things they were trying to do, I definitely like it alot better than when I first saw it.

My only problem with On Stranger Tides was that Blackbeard wasn't enough of a villain and the mermaid romance was too forced and underdeveloped. They were clearly meant to be the new Elizabeth/William, but the difference is that in Curse of the Black Pearl, they were the stars of the movie and Jack was a supporting character. In OST, it was all about Jack, and the mermaid/missionary were just little side characters, so there was nothing to make the audience connect with them.

I hope the 5th one pulls the focus away from being solely on Jack. He was much better as a supporting character. I hope they expand on the
[Show spoiler]scene with Penelope Cruz's character finding the Jack voodoo doll
, while also providing more characters for us to care about like Will/Elizabeth.
