"Game of Thrones: Season 1" BBY Exclusive(s) - Blu-ray Forum

For anyone a fan of "Game of Thrones" Best Buy will have an exclusive for the Blu-ray and DVD versions of season 1 coming out on 3/6/212. This set will be in exclusive packaging and will come with a keychain.

The "Targaryen" edition (red/black) is available in both Blu-ray and DVD editions as well as the "Stark" (silver) edition being available for Blu-ray and DVD.

Actually they have both versions for both formats. The keychain is a cool addition. Makes me feel better for ordering the Targaryen version.

You only get the keychain when you pre-order, I believe.

Not necessarily. I've seen these type of extras available on release day as well.

the Targaryen cover is the Red & Black with the Dragons and the Stark cover is Black & Gray/Silver with the Direwolfe.

I will be picking up the Stark cover on release day love this show. The keychain is a nice bonus. I' am in Canada i saw they were pose to give out mini sword when you bought the season.

These are quite nice, but I don't know... I honestly prefer the regular edition. I just love that image of Sean Bean sitting in the throne. It's quite iconic.

Im with you on that one...Im going to have to see the BB Edition ones in person before I pull the trigger on one of those. Im hoping they come with a foil type cover rather than the standard gloss.

pretty sure the BB exclusive is just the lip cover then it has Ned on the throne when you take the slip off. also i ordered this with The Town UCE and the town is shipped but not this, anyone else have this problem?

you are right, underneath the slip cover it is the same image as the standard release.
