Saw this thread in another forum, so thought it was interesting.
Saw IMAX Legends of Flight 3D today and it was impressive stuff as usual from IMAX. Sort of a puff piece on the 787 but content aside the PQ was great (minus a few shots that needed to be colour corrected), great sense of depth over the Boeing plant and various planes and quite a few pop-out moments as well (a Harrier comes to mind), there was one particularly nice shot of a glider that would make nice demo material. Bit expensive all up considering the length but IMAX 3D just oozes quality, part of me thinks it's the 65mm film cameras they use just have much better dynamic range than the stuff used on feature films and seem to be pin sharp. Anyway, quality 3D title. |

I watched Mars Needs Moms again last night. I really thought I would hate that movie, but I collect every single 3DBD that comes out and it is by far one of my fave. I feel it got a bad rap for no good reason. The 3D is beautiful too. |

wow, what's with this guy?... Beauty and the Beast 3D was fabulous, and I'm very particular.
I just got and watched How to Train your Dragon 3D.... I love this movie! Watched it 3 times since I got it last week. Also recently got Avatar 3D (ebay purchase) and the 3D is superb. G-Force 3D was pretty good also, 3D pretty decent. Waiting next for Hugo 3D. They can't make 3D movies fast enough for me. Wish they would make a Legend of the Guardians 2. |

Okay, thanks to the tipoff from the one guy who was looking for "3D movies on Netflix", I discovered that the supposedly "2D" Blu-ray of "Cave of Forgotten Dreams" really DOES have the B3D version included on the disk, thus saving me $3.99 on 3DBR.com.
(But only because it was a new release, and IFC was too cheap to create two releases--We can assume the 2-D versions of Under the Sea and Tahiti on Netflix are the 2D-only versions from years past) Only partways into it, but the 3D isn't as bad as its reputation has it, and certainly looks native-- A nice sweeping sense of depth in the first establishing shots, and the stalagtites inside. ![]() |

Eniweys, I haven't watched a 3D disc yet this year but me and family had a marathon during Christmas break -- The Polar Express, Monster House and Legend of the Guardians (all selected by my kid). |

Last one I watched was Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs after finding it for $10 at a pawn shop, and it was well worth the money. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this movie and its use of 3D. Very funny movie, by the way. Especially any scene with Baby Brent or Officer Earl.

The movie I just finished watching right then, before I swapped screens and sat down at the computer, was Beowulf. I really wish I could say that this was the last 3D movie I watched. C'mon Zemekis, there's a gap in my 3D collection between The Polar Express and A Christmas Carol... |

Only a month or so in of owning my 3d glasses so I just started with whatever I had:
Avatar - watched only certain scenes due to time constraints but was really impressed by the 3d IMAX: Under the Sea - again, skipped around to different parts - really thought Jim Carrey's voice was putting me to sleep - was alot of fun to watch though (good thing its only 40 mins or so) Yogi Bear - only watched the opening scene with the picnic basket flying open (great use of the pop-out 3d) Yet to watch - I have Cars 2, Lion King, Smurfs, Hubble and borrowed Bolt from a friend. Also have a bunch of Fios on demand 3d for free (I think its SBS though) As of now I am still not sold on the 3d - I think it looks great but I dont know if I want to watch a 90 min to 2 hr movie wearing glasses. |

I watched the Toy Story trilogy. So I love each Toy Story film so that covers that. So just to rate the 3D.
Toy Story: 4.5/5 Toy Story 2: 5/5 Toy Story 3: 4.5/5 So I don't know why but Toy Story 2 just felt like it was made for 3D! The opening scene was amazing! I'm waiting to see if hbo gets avatar 3d on their 3D section. |

Watched Tron Legacy.
The wife hadn't seen it yet, we've been on a 3D kick over the past few nights. We watched Beauty and The Beast,Ultimate Wave Tahiti,Drive Angry and Tron. Odd list, but each one had something different to offer. |

I just picked up all three of the Toy Story movies at Best Buy since they were on sale, and I had $15 in reward zone coupons.
I have only watched the first one so far. |
