For the people that hate Rob Zombie's Halloween 2, i'd recommend the Theatrical Cut of the film. IMO it's miles better than the Director's Cut of the film. A much better of an ending for sure. I actually liked Rob's H2...Theatrical Cut only.

I saw it opening day. I bought the Blu-ray when it came out, hoping it would be better and needing to keep the Halloween collection up to date, since I cared at the time about being a completionist. It's just...horrible. When Michael stabs the nurse, what 15-20 times, it just kinds of sums up why I don't care for Zombie's take on Halloween at all.

There's thing I like about his 2007 remake, it's entertaining and hilarious in a trashy way. II was just ridiculous in every way.

What about the stabbing made you dislike it? I mean seriously, the dude has some major anger issues and he let it out on that nurse like it was nobody's business. I thought it was a great moment myself

It's kind of symbolic of Zombie's take on the Halloween films. Overkill, no subtlety, in your face, etc. I'm just not a fan of it in a Halloween film. After like 5 stabs, I'm like ok. Then it kept going...and going...and going.

Yea, believe me, I can understand why some like it. I'm not a Zombie hater. I thought The Devil's Rejects was a huge surprise when I first saw that when it came out on DVD. I love that movie. I just don't like his style when it comes to the Halloween universe.

Devil's Rejects is just amazing lol. But that's a totally different topic all together so I wont get into how much I love it

but yet IMO I feel his Halloween's were a million times better than the likes of Resurrection.
I still liked Resurrection for its insane stupidity and all, but yet the movie had its quirks and charms that just got to me lol.
I will be picking this up sooner or later, in fact it will probably be in my hands come October.

This movie doesn't deserve a Blu-ray release at all. It's the worst Halloween and a complete embarrassment. What was Rick Rosenthal thinking?? Brad Loree did a piss poor job playing Michael Myers. The whole movie is just a mess.

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it shouldn't be released on BR.

I'm a huge fan of Zombie's H2. It's actually one of my favorite sequels, and I like it much better than Zombie's previous effort. And I agree that the theatrical cut is the better cut.

I enjoy Resurrection. It's not my favorite, but I didn't find it to be terrible at all. Will pick this one up with H20 and 6.
