I think Tarzan is going to be released around the blu-ray of John Carter.

I wonder if we will get the uncut original or the censored version of Aladdin?

In Greece, UK and Middle East it's gonna be released close to the theatrical release of John Carter.

And John Carter is getting a BD release on June 2012 over here.

Not gonna happen. That would cause too many issues in this day and age. Also, once Disney scrubs out a "racist" comment or character, they scrub it out for good. You'll see the unedited Aladdin when Song of the South gets a deluxe BD treatment here in North America.

It's hard to see, but it looks like it says Secret of the Wings is going to be on Blu-ray 3D too.

I'm really excited for these releases, but I'm also really scared by these 2 Movie Collections. If Mulan's eventual Blu-ray release is paired with Mulan II......

I haven't seen either. Are they as vomit inducing as The Little Mermaid 2?

I wouldn't say Mulan II is a bad movie, just that I feel like it ruins the character of Mulan. To put it simply, in the first movie she's a "warrior woman". In the second, she's just a "woman", if that makes sense.

I'm of the opinion it was never out, except for a lot of thirdhand telephone-games about the UK version being dropped from the UK lineup for "Poor sales".
Every time someone tried to nail down an answer about whether it was the US or UK version that'd gotten bounced, all fans got was a lot of poorly-informed other-fan speculation about what the original Platinum line "was" or "wasn't":
"Well, it's the ones they only did 2-disks for, right?" "No, they only want to keep it to ten!"
Rather like the same confusion currently reigning over Pinocchio, Fantasia and Peter Pan.

(Still if that is the real L&T insert, it does confirm speculations that Pocahontas, not being Diamond, will get stuck with its sequel, while Lady, who is, will get hers separately.)

Mulan II, like Atlantis, Brother Bear, Lilo 2 (not the TV pilot), Cinderella 3, and the Enchanted Tales pilot, was one of the "Good" sequels.
Pocahontas II, however.........

Pocahontas II was ****ing terrible (to me, if you like the film, more power to you) and put me off Disney DTV sequels for good. That and, you know... puberty.

The least awful to me is The Lion King II, even though it makes no sense. Where did the Lionesses Who <3 Scar Coalition came from? Who was Kovu's father? Not to mention Naala had nothing to do the entire film except spout pseudo-wisdom every once in a while and poor Rafiki was demoted from spiritual guide to matchmaker...

Sorry for getting off-topic here. Carry on!

Oh that would suck. That would be worse than the Pocahontas deal by a wide margin.

Do not waste your time or money with ANY straight to video Disney sequel. There's a reason the company ended the practice in utter disgrace.

Dang it I feel like we sparked another sequel debate. Can we just say some are better than others. Some of us like them some of us hate them. haha I think that some of the sequels are rather good, but i don't feel that we need a debate about the sequels on every disney movie topic XD

I think thats why they are releasing them together with the originals, they know they suck and people do too, so trying to sell them off again to the same people wouldnt induce quite the sales they originally had on their first initial release, so they are giving them away for free when you buy the orginal movie so to speak.

I like some of the sequels. I just wish they would release them separate from the originals so as to give us the choice of whether we want to invest or not. Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas, Bambi II, The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, and Brother Bear 2 are the best of them. That is not to say that they are masterpieces, but they are the most well made and plainly enjoyable of the lot. Bambi II rocks for Patrick Stewart's silky vocals alone. The music isn't bad either. It's cute and harmless. The rest have their really good points as well. Melissa Etheridge's songs for Brother Bear 2 were awesome. The voice cast was on target as well. Mandy Moore = Nice.
