I actually plan on getting both

The Grindhouse Double Feature, IIRC, is the theatrical cut with both films edited down into a single 3 hour(ish) presentation.

The individual releases have the extended cuts of both films.

Grindhouse has some extras not on the individual releases, and they have some not present in the Grindhouse package.

Anyways, BB managed to muck up the PM (as usual), since they couldn't confirm Wal-Mart's stock, they would PM at $18.00 + $0.97 shipping = $19.00, the cashier punched the $19.00 price match into the computer and it rang it up as a $20.99 PM reduced to $19.00.

I was using a $5 reward zone coupon and wasn't in the mood to put up a fight

Anyways, just over $6 a movie and hopefully I can get rid of Sin City (picked up the Premium edition and I now have 2 barebones to get rid of )

Is that so? That's pathetic, they simply cannot put it all in one box. You can either buy the films seperate, and get the uncut films, but not the theatrical experience of fake trailers, or get the set I have, and get the full theatrical experience, but censored films. This film seems to have a hard time getting a proper release lol. But I am still pretty happy with my set.

There's too much content to release all the content available on a smaller number of discs with the possible exception of the 2nd extras disc on the theatrical Grindhouse release. Basically the alternative would have been to release a single 5-disc release which would doubtfully be cheaper than purchasing the 3 individual releases.

I think I've spent about $35 for all 3 releases.

Fair enough.
