I'm really pleased with Miami's class this year. We got a lot of players for need positions and did well competing with Florida and Florida State for the in state recruits. I see a lot of recruiting battles going forward between Golden, Muschamp, and Fisher. It's going to be really interesting to see who is the best at developing the talent.

Wow, Stanford really shot up the rankings today. Jumped to #5 best class in the nation. The class includes three 5-star recruits and a familiar name in RB Barry Sanders Jr. Doesn't make up for losing Andrew Luck but it's a terrific class.

Agreed, with 1 small note. 3 5-star O-lineman basically means a decent QB should take them far

Not only that, but Stanford's running game is going to be amazing. Stanford's entire style of offense revolves around its O-line/double-TE sets.

Clemson came out with another very solid class. Ranked 13th best class by Rivals.com. Not as jaw-dropping as their 2011 class that contained four 5-star recruits, but a terrific class still. And it's a slightly better class than their rival South Carolina pulled.

I think Brett Nottingham is taking over Stanford's starting job. He's no Andrew Luck but he was highly recruited out of HS and should be a solid starter.

Glad UCLA got a decent class considering everything that has happened. If now we can only get our qb issues fixed we can work on trying to build something here.

I was surprised at how well Jim Mora, Jr. closed down the stretch. Hopefully that is a good sign for you guys going forward. He was a questionable hire in my eyes, but he did a good job recruiting with limited time.

I really thought after Harbaugh left that Stanford was going to fall back into mediocrity but it looks like David Shaw is doing just fine in his place.

I was looking at Scout.com's class rankings and it's interesting that their 2 worst classes from BCS conferences were the 2 Kansas schools. Kansas was their worst BCS school at #104, which surprised me a little because I thought Weis would have been able to get better players even in a short amount of time. I guess he's learning recruiting isn't so easy when you're not at a school that kids grow up dreaming of attending. Kansas State was the next worst BCS school at #85, which was a surprise to me considering the team is coming off a very good season in which they made the Cotton Bowl.

#27 ain't bad. We do good work with those 2-star recruits every year. Did they remove the "Athlete" position? We usually grab a few of those but I don't see any listed this year.

I dunno I mean they do, do a good job making players out of 2 stars, but they shouldn't have gotten beat by Jim Mora and UCLA.

Yea, our class is really good. The most exciting part is 65 players are freshmen and sophmores next year...... Line will pose a problem though

Haha... proximity to Chik-fil-a. I googled LSU restaurants and it turns out they have McDonalds and Taco Bell on campus. Now I know why JaMarcus Russell went there!

Best part is that there are 2 places on campus where can get chik-fil-a...and a standalone restaurant a couple miles off campus.

Besides, everyone knows you choose college based on the best looking girls, not fast food
