PowerDVD *should* allow you to play the Blu-ray at whatever size you wish.
I can play Blu-ray Discs and resize the player as small as a postcard or maximize it to full screen. Black bars might be coming from the Blu-ray disc itself. 1.78:1 aspect ratio will fit a 16:9 screen without black bars. 1.85:1 aspect ratio will have small black bars top and bottom. 2.35:1 aspect ratio will have bigger black bars top and bottom. |
